Animal Print Like Rawwwr!

Suicide Dollz is probably one of favorite little events that takes place in Second Life. It's bi-weekly so designers are always coming out with something to amaze us.
I have a couple SD specials on in my lil photos here. My top is DRBC and although there are a few to pick from, it's no secret that I love my animal prints. There's another one with lips on it that I could only see wearing with roller skates for some reason. It's so darn cute. Go see them! And keep watch for DRBC in the Tainted Love hunt. So I get going on this outfit and I'm like wait...I might as well go ALL OUT animal print! My boots have animal print around the ankle, my top of course, my necklace, and my nails even! "The secret is, you gotta coordinate!" I heard someone say it once and his voice echoed in my head while I blogged.
I love MiWardrobe and so have to feature it more often! But the necklace covered my loverly tattoo so I will feature them both below.

Elska is always coming out with cute lil releases here and there. Hopefully everybody was able to make it to Project Limited and snag Elska's awesomeness. Also keep an eye out for Elska in the Jack and Jill hunt that starts February 1st. Free tattoo with appliers? Oh yeah!

Wolf Spirit {Enchantment Special}

Enchantment is a an event that cycles every three months. Oh you didn't know? Don't worry, I missed the first one too. A fairytale is chosen and participating designers create exclusive items for the event. This round is based on the age old tale, "Little Red Riding Hood". Yes, prepare for the hooded/wooded photos galore! I always thought of the many different angles that fairytales can be looked at. Maybe the 'Evil Stepmother' was having a bad horrible day. It is possible you know. 

With Little Red...I wanted to not just give her the story line of a victim but maybe the storyline of the fighter. Maybe she did have to take on this wolf and maybe her fight was long and vicious.

"....She was left with nothing but the weapon she traveled with and scars but what this wolf didn't know, was that she was sent to her Grandmother's for a reason untold. She was sent there to find her spirit. Her ancestors believed that your spirit would find you on your trek and fight to keep itself from binding to you. You could let it win, or you could become one with the spirit. "Your totem animal is sacred Little Red. Find your fate but do not forsake this being. If the battle is won and your spirit is embraced, you must make use of every part of your sacred animal. It is against every part of us to leave anything behind..." So she obeyed what was taught to her and wore his skins, he would stay with her always. Even in this last dance under Mother Moon, honoring his Sacred Spirit."

DRBC is participating in the Sexxx Sells event and this is only one of the dresses available, the others are the secks too! I just adore my B-movie prints and the teeny vintage waist snags me any time. It made me feel like a total Bettie, but a mean kinda Dominatrix one! The dress isn't phat azz friendly but with the curves on it, you don't need your phat azz! It works with and without Lola's and looks great both ways as well.
The skin I am in is by Mystic Canvass who is participating in the Hipster Fair. You don't want to miss these skins. They're super dramatic and neutral colored which is a rarity with MC skins! Mine looks even more dramatic because I wanted to wear my mean girl eyebrows to set the Dominatrix vibe.
This dress should be a staple amongst every Domme on the grid. Just my personal opinion! I felt the need to do these sans color as well so to see the Black and White Version, check out my Flickr!

Messenger On a Mission

I so meant to post this outfit awhile ago! Like I said...real life...you're a pain! So when I ran into these shoes at The Seasons Story, I knew exactly what they went with. Then I ran into the bag and it was a done deal.

One of my favorite things to do with my clothes in real life and in Second Life is to admire the work put into them. Fine detail is very important to me. It shows how much a designer/creator really loves and appreciates their work AND their customers and that so wins me over! So I want to take the time and hopefully in all of my blogs from now on, to let you see things 'Through My Eyes'. The small details that I see and love and hopefully you will do the same. Stop and actually look at the things you're buying. I'm darn picky about what I am spending my money on and believe me, I've had my share of 'right click/buy' moments that make me want to cry (Oh I intend to get you my pretties!) so now I really take my time looking over fine print and checking out the texture. I love my designers that love me back. For those of you that take your time doing things like what I highlighted in my collage below, I applaud you, I appreciate you...you are the REAL creators of Second Life! <3

The Siren's Call [Project Limited Exclusives]

Ahoy luvs! How many of you made it to Project Limited? How many of you made it out alive? How many of you made it out alive and with lindens in your pockets still? I didn't think so!
What an awesome event this one. My favorite thing about it is just that whatever your style may be, you probably found something or several things there to your liking. You probably even discovered something there that you wouldn't typically like, but you now do. "Yeah, I don't wear Flite shoes...but lemme grab a pair real quick while there's still 53 left." I bet somebody did it!
So some of my favs were there of course! I'm featuring a few here and as I am posting this, there are 24 Elska tattoos left! Such a work of art she's created with this tattoo. Front to back, there is so much to admire and with all appliers included, it's quite the steal.
Mystic Canvass is also there! Mystic Canvass is the creator of some of my favorite skins in Second Life. Unique, dramatic, amazing are some of the words that were recently used by the owner of an upcoming magazine to describe her skins and it's all true! There are still skins left at Project Limited. "My Right to Say What I Want & Think the Way I Wanna Think!"

Before I started blogging, I was following tons of blogs. Now, as a blogger, I follow tons of blogs. I have some favorites. (Mine first of course!) No seriously, I have some favorites. But what I find is a certain trend.... I refuse to point out specifics because if life has taught me anything it's this, an insult can last longer than a slap to the face. So anyway...certain trends in our Second Life (In real life too, I know, I know) are overwhelming right now! My goodness, I can flip through 300 blogs and swear I've seen the same girl. But it only makes me question myself. Because I don't admire her. I am always looking at that odd girl in the corner of the room. The quiet one that sits on the couch while the others are out making asses of themselves. I'm looking at that girl that's caught up in her novel, obsessed with her music, in her own world of darkness, punk, metal. That girl that you know damn well you better not be wearing a band t-shirt and not have the knowledge to back it up! It's the girl that doesn't stay hip to the trending fashion that catches my eye.

In my current gear, I am nearly FK'd from head to toe....no I mean that literally! FK! Designs is always coming out with something unique, something kinda twisted, something 'that girl' would rock and wear and so I did! All bias aside, the shoes in this place are some of the best you're going to find on the grid and I say this because of originality and quality. It's something I always look for. A Deadly Situation

The words 'Femme Fatale' are thrown around a lot, but do you really know what they mean? Not translations...I mean what they represent. To be deadly...to use your charm, seduce, ensnare your victims into a web that they cannot seem to break free of. Said to have almost supernatural powers, said to have a beauty that you cannot turn away. Well, I've just described myself of course...I jest!
Although the lovely things I find in my Second Life allow me to play the role so well! The Azz Show is on its roll and Reckless released some gorgeous inks for us to enjoy. I couldn't pic a fav but the Femme Fatale showed so pretty with my new Reign dolly dress that I snagged while at the Azz show. Go make your rounds and pick up all the goodies!

That's about how I feel after my little break, like we're being 'reunited'. I have so much to catch up on and that pesky little thing called 'real life' seems to keep trying to keep me logged in! *le sigh*
In any case, DRBC released a sweet lil outfit that made me feel cute as a button. Think I spent 3 or 4 days in it which is just unheard of but the compliments were plenty! Inspired by one of her favorite bands/songs and the song haunted me the entire time I blogged this! I paired it with one of Elska's releases for The Azz Show, an adorable kitty tattoo that is phat azz/cute azz friendly.

Elska released a new tattoo for the 'Rack'. Every Saturday, a select group of fashion designers will participate once a month as part of a rotation, and will put out a new item at the front of their mainstore. Items will be new, or a new and exclusive recolor of an existing item, and will be priced at 200L for 24 hours. The tattoo will be available after today in the mainstore but at its original price. So if you are a comic/Batman/Catwoman fan like me, grab it now! Also these shoes by Razor! I just love love them! They're at the OMGacha event and a great snag! Bodysuit is luscious. I'm just getting to know this designer but I'm liking it a whole lot!

Dear Johnny...

I saw a picture of this sim and decided to pay it a little visit....but now I think I am in love with it! Their little cafe is based on the memories of people that lived in Dyess in the 1940's and 50's. And if 'Dyess' sounds a lil familiar to you, it's because it is the hometown of my beloved Johnny Cash. There's something about his voice that ensnares you. No matter the genre of music you love, you simply must admit the man was talented. So I took my sweet time enjoying my view. I am sure many more of my blog photos will be taken here.

Of course, in order for me to go here and visit, I had to be dressed appropriately. Who else could dress me besides DRBC? It was a hard decision on which Venus Jumpsuit I wanted to wear because they are ALL adorable. Steam Rollin' Through the New Year

So we've made it to 2014 without a single Zombocalypse! Sad. I love the entire 'post apocalyptic' style. The reason I chose it for my first post of 2014 is because I intend to go into this new year kicking and screaming. With a ferociousness, an inner fire that cannot be extinguished. 

A friend of mine shared a picture that said, "Tomorrow is the first blank page of a 365 page book, write a good one." Those were the words that I needed. I don't really do Resolutions. To me, that is the quickest way for failure. But I can start off with the idea that this is a clean slate. 

Just as if we were in a post apocalyptic world, I will keep in mind that the most important thing is to realize that you are the one person you can always count on. That I have to take care of me and love me more because nobody else will care more about you than -you-. Not in a narcissistic way either. What I mean is, taking care of yourself so that you can better take care of others. You have to be fierce and fight for what you love..."Taking steps is easy, standing still is hard."

With that being said, in all of my ferociousness, I am wearing Mystic Canvass' new release at the OMGacha event. This skin is just damn awesome. What I love about her skins is that I don't have to really go in search of other make-up to compliment it because she does an amazing job on the make-up herself. The lip coloring and eyeshadow just made me giddy. AND, Mystic Canvass is all applier friendly! I complimented the skin with an awesome remake of a Reckless tattoo that is now available in monotint.

Also rocking DRD's (another one of my favs!) new releases at Fameshed and Armor. I love that DRD is always coming out with very original work. I've followed DRD since my return to SL and have never been disappointed!
