Curse you RL, curse you! If I could only stay home and blog all day. I have so many things I would love to show but this here first. Suicide Dollz has been open for a bit now so I hope you recognize everything I'm wearing because surely, it's already in your inventory or on your pixels! If it's not, you still have time to get there and get to it. 

This is DRBC's booty friendly sweater, and although I don't put the phat azz on often, these pants and the sweater called for an attack of that azz.  Many different prints on this adorbs sweater you'll probably want them all. The leggings? Reckless! Whore Couture! I can't take them off ever. So many ways to play with these leggings but on this particular day, I was feeling rather melancholy. Feeling much better now though!

So my little input for the evening is this...

A very hard day (for me) is approaching soon. A day I will never forget. Every time that day rolls back around, I relive the moments of it vividly. My brother passed away on March 4th of 2011. What I carry with me and hope to teach everyone near me is...to never hold a grudge, always say 'I love you', even to friends. In the end, you wont remember the fights or the bad times, all that's left is smiles and the funny moments, the great memories. <3

This is Gia being a speed demon! I couldn't let the event end without giving my Sakide and DRD some lovin! They both had some wonderful items in Future Wave and both always have wonderful items in their shops always! I think I have all of the DRD wings and could leave them on always. They are quite stunning! I couldn't stop playing with the look of this outfit. I love it! To mix this hairbase with this hair is not my original idea...I think I saw it at Fi*fridays and grabbed this hair from there as well. Another of her hairs was there this week too and I am kind of loving on her extreme styles! Nothing I love more than originality and fashion statements.
I felt a lil nude with only the Sakide outfit on so I made sure to cover up well with fishnet! And on into battle!
Razor seemed to top it off perfectly!
Future Wave closes tomorrow at midnight! That is your cut off time. It will be back next year though! Hopefully for a bit longer. Lets cross our android fingers!

My take on this 'Another Me' is quite simply that cyborgs...the machine, will one day take over our world. Maybe Aarya's character trusted that she did the right thing in creating a clone...but maybe she didn't. 

The end of Future Wave has arrived! (insert sad face here) I have just had entirely too much fun with this!
I asked my talented and lovely friend Aarya to join me for a collab on this blog. She's went with her own thing. Following a playlist to do her blogs and it's quite interesting! I will have to give that a try sometime. Her story line was based on 'Another Me' or a clone type or a cyborg based off of her character. One made from her own DNA but modified to her own personal tastes for her own personal reasons.
We took our adventure to Insilico, which is absolutely visually amazing! We were clicking on a lot of things.

MV has always been one of my 'staple' stores. These are stores I follow, stores I am a VIP in, stores I fan girl for...so I had to fit in time for this badassery of a skirt. PVC highwaist cyber skirt that moves and fits wonderfully. Not to mention, the shading on it is as you see it. That's not my photoshopping it! So it really accentuates those thighs in all the right areas. I bugged MV's head woman a bit about pairing up MV's Illiad corsets with this skirt. It would have looked amazing! Alas, the skirt doesnt cut in enough to wear one with the other so I looked through my PVC/Latex folder and found my shirt from one of my other staple shops in SL, Sn@tch! Who would complain about having Sn@tch in the future? Nobody. Ever!
This was also my first time experimenting with DoF in Second Life so if it's not up to par, give me some time to perfect it.
I hope everyone had as much of a blast as I did with Future Wave. Hopefully most of the designers will be moving their creations to their shops or at least to the Market Place and I will still be able to blog a couple more of my favs, because I wasn't done by far!

Genetically Modified to Perfection

So taking advantage of being able to show off another Future Wave stunner, this one is by Zibska. With another several options of creative and unique designs, it was very hard to pick one, but going along with my theme of what things we may run into in our futuristic world, I decided to use this outfit to show a genetically altered beauty.
Even in our current day, people are obsessed with looking a certain way and people ridicule others for not looking a certain way.
Who's definition of perfection are we trying to reach though?

Rebels of the Future

This is the 4th day of Future Wave...Again I say, it's only a week long! I wanted to show the many different angles that might come to us in a futuristic world and hopefully I'll get the chance to show them all. There are SO many talented designers in this event! They gave us all a plethora of options to choose from and stories to make with their creations.

DRBC's take on the futuristic look made me only think of something badass. What would the rebels of our future be like? The ones that follow orders of beings that have presented themselves...the ones that program the machines that might take over earth (and perhaps other planets). My imagination runs wild. I think the rebels of our future will be deadly, stylish of course, beyond any intelligence found here today with a splash of retro.

They'll confuse people and make them wonder if they're looking at Androids or just another well painted up person. The other-worldly beings will have taught them to be emotionless....

They will have no problems taking things. Whether it be personal possessions or taking possession of you. No, they will not come in peace...

Okay enough with the doom & gloom! DRBC has another color option available as well! I love them both. I paired it with FK! Designs because...well, they're just perfect together, in every way!
Also tossed a lil MiaSnow in there. Her latest release just seemed to fit right in.

My Sci-Fi Fantasies-Revealed {Future Wave}

I typically create a story in all of my blog posts. With this one, I got a bit more in depth. Curse you Future Wave for tapping into my innermost sci-fi fantasies and making me reveal them here! It's fine though. I so am an enjoying myself. Read on....

 Android-6 was able to continue the process to complete its human-like appearance after the incident...

Surveillance cameras have provided us with enough proof to assume that Android-6 not only completed its human appearance but then left the lab.

Android-6 is considered dangerous due to a previously unencountered error. Approach with extreme caution. Lethal force may be necessary.

Graves....I love you. I just had to get that out real quick. Future Wave is only a week long. I know I mentioned that before but there are things at this event that you will not want to miss! Not only the clothes and make-up featured is from Future Wave, my props used are there as well. It's an all around amazing experience and I am so glad that we're all able to enjoy and honest to goodness sci-fi event.
Not to mention...they party it up there! Club Gothika is at the Cursed sim and during the event the mobile unit is active! Here is a schedule of events for the week. Hope I run into you all there!
By the way...that hair I got...get on it! That creator is on a roll with some amazing new-do's and I've snagged them all up so far.  New hair textures and new hairbases coming to her place and I'm so excited to see what she has in store for us!

Spiral Out!

This is a glimpse into the future. This is a look at things far beyond the imagination, far beyond what many people can grasp. I am asking you at this point to let go. 'Todays Fashion Trends' no longer exist because today.....was so long ago. This is the wave of the future....or "Future Wave".
Future Wave opens to the masses at noon 2/15/14 and let me just say....it is amazing! The sim is...well, the photos I took are at the sim, there is also a Future Wave Flickr Group where you can take a look at the goodies and the sim.
To give you a quick run down, Future Wave is a Science Fiction/Futuristic shopping event. So many of our favorite designers are participating in this. Mind you, it is -not- a charity event. It'll run from February 15th till February 23rd so prepare to get there!
My futuristic inspiration comes from all over the grid though. I love this style of dressing, always have. Razor is one of my favorite stores to hit up on the grid. I knew these Mars Boots were going to grace the Future Wave bloggage sooner or later...or multiple times!
The first outfits I chose are by Sian Pearl. I loved their uniqueness! The first one (top pic) reminded me of what Futuristic couture might be and the second one....I could only see our Futuristic younger genre wearing something like this! Extreme colors, extreme shapes, extreme styles!

I do apologize, but I had entirely too much fun with this and what happens in Gia's World when I have fun? Pictures are a PLENTY! Make sure to check my Flickr for better quality images and keep an eye out for the other things I'll be showing you from the Future!
I'm pairing this event up with the music that inspires me to do it all. Music that is so far beyond its time. Of course, I speak of only one band.

Suicide Dollz is open for another round of yumminess! Honestly I didn't know where to look first so I ended up grabbing a lot. Too many of my favs in one place is not a good thing for Gia! DRBC's lil dresses there are adorbs! Think every Valentine day emotion was covered so take your pic. Of course, mine is a dark one. 

In my closie there, I am holding *gasp* another vape by Reckless! My fav vape by Reckless actually...no one of my favs! It's at The Big Show, it's got Ms. Monroe on it, I was in love! 

I needed some heels that were classy, feminine, gorgeous...of course I went to L.Warwick. These heels plus some of her other gorgeous ones are also at Suicide Dollz and definitely snag worthy!

"I have crossed oceans of time to find you..." Maybe it's a love like that, words like that, that I wait for. It's deeper than a poem, deeper than any emotion easily visible to the eye. I envy the loves that we see in movies because they do not exist. ....A love like the Phantom gives to Christine in 'The Phantom of the Opera', A love like Dracula has for Mina...a love that is timeless. Not 'Till Death do us Part'....it's "Even in Death, We Will Never Part.."

There are two things to be noted here. One, that I love my L.W. heels and have since before she went slink, just sayin'. And two...I finally found someone who knows how to paint my SL nails right! I love you Pin Me Down! Where have you been all my dark lil life?!

"If I Wait For Love, Am I Waiting For Godot?"

My dearest readers, I wish I could be the most romantic person for Valentines Day. I wish I could paint you this incredibly romantic picture of love and laughter, joy and those special moments....surely they exist in some places. But if you are looking for the fairy tale...If you are looking for the happy ending, this isn't the place you'll find it. I will only give you the reality check during this time of year. I will only help you see the things that love will blind you to. Am I scorned? Like nobody you've ever met before. Have I been hurt in SL? Yes. Once. That was enough to forever learn a lesson. So I will be so glad to post my images of love...but they will be images that are true. I can't see it in myself to paint you a pretty picture of lies.
My Valentines Day tributes will be that of a darker kind of love and the darker side of love...that's what I know as true. I'm not saying that's true in every case. I know some people that are in an honest love and I'm always happy for them and wish them an eternity of continuous love and joy and everything else that's good. But this will be my tribute to the chocolate holiday.

City Nights

Dressing up fancy, piece of cake. Retro? Pssh...give me a challenge! Dress like you normally would in real life.... *silence*. For some reason in Second Life, I find this very hard to do. In my real life, I am a hoodie, jeans, sweats, tennis shoes, band tees, sweater kind of girl. I play dress up when it's called for but mostly, I just like to chill. Sometimes though, I am lucky enough to find something in game that makes it easy enough for me to get comfy. Spending time in Metropolis reminded me of being back home. Ah, the sweet smell of restaurants, exhaust...sounds of honking horns and annoyed people, sirens blaring, bass thumping somewhere in the distance....how I miss it! You might not understand it but it was home to me.

Thrift Shop opens tomorrow. Oh, are you not familiar with it? Many of our favorite creators of Second Life participate in this event. One room, and everything is 50% off or less! Who could ask for more? Plus Gachas! Don't miss this event. I anxiously await it every time. 

Also!...Don't miss DRBC's Chickie Dickies! They will be at the Thrift Shop. The fit on these babies are awesome and they're another part of your wardrobe that you can dress up or down. I love things that are versatile!

Hope every one (even the gals) have stopped in the Men's Only Gacha too. Reckless is coming out with these vapes....now I will admit, I did say to someone that I wasn't a vape girl but I can't help it! One of the best things about Second Life, is being able to be absolutely anything that you want to be! I have seen some of the oddest things walks, roll, trot, crawl, fly, limp (and many other things), right past me. I take so much advantage of this. You might not ever really see me in any one style ever because there are far too many things that I love. But if you whisper the words 'Fem bot' to me softly, just right...oh the reaction you might get!
This wonderful creation is by FK! Designs, the only thing that isn't is the hair and eyes. I had to toss in my own little customization. From head to toe amazing work! War of the Phoenix

When I returned to Second Life, one of the first shops I fell in love with was Death Row Designs. It has a little bit of me in every part of the store. A little blood, a little gore, a little grunge, a little beautiful darkness...if you can understand what finding beauty in the darkness is. Wonderful prices for things that are amazing.
So everything DRD that comes out, I fan girl. I follow it, I run after it, I get it. The Phoenix wings at Limited Bizarre were no exception!
I remember the old school wings of SL. Back when they were simply textures or flexi, or over sized and just invasive...and then you see these wings and they are at a whole new level. It's one of my favorite things about Second Life. Watching our wonderful designers/creators innovate, invent, inspire! If you're one of the lucky ones that snagged these wings, you know they are well worth every penny and more! They also have an option to be animated and can be set to different speeds
They inspired the photos you see here and allowed me a great time blogging and photo shooting!

I love blogging but it is such a fun adventure when I have the pleasure of blogging with my gorgeous friend Anika! Okay okay, I wont sugar coat it for you. We take forever! I take forever getting dressed and then we take forever trying to come to an agreement on where we should take our little adventure. Oh and then it's, "You're not looking at the camera..." and "Not that pose.." and "Stop clicking that!" and "Next place!" and so on and so forth. (I excluded all foul language, thank me later). More importantly, I think we ALWAYS come out with one hell of a collab! 

We're showing off several things that we love in our photos but lets start with ooooooh LATEX! DRBC's lil ruffle latex skirts steals my kinky lil heart! The many many ways you can work this. The possibilities are vast! I guess mine is a kinkeh Marilyn!

And this minx stole...when I saw it, I knew what I wanted to pair it up with. As I meet up with my dear friend here, she was pairing it up with the same thing! That brought on this collab. Forbidden Tales {Fantasy Gacha Carnival Special}

The title of this blog probably sounds extremely naughty, don't worry...it is. I jest!

It's never been hard for me to take my mind to another level. To allow it to explore other dimensions, realms, worlds, fantasies that others wouldn't dare wander in or just can't seem to embrace anymore with age. We're in this world where all we do is rush rush rush to our next destination and quite often we forget to really allow for some down time. I mean real down time. That can be whatever allows your mind to relax. I've always hated when people say "Clear your mind...". Really? Can anybody honestly do that? Because as soon as you say that, I start thinking about the thousand and four things I have yet to do. But I read somewhere else that when that is said, it's not meant to literally clear your mind, but maybe to imagine something...like static. The way static noise allows some people to sleep....maybe thinking of an ocean will allow you to clear your mind.
So when I allow myself some down time, when I feel that my brain needs that moment of peace...I will close my eyes and sometimes...my fantasy is this. Perhaps I am a maiden in another world, enjoying my stroll through a forrest full of animals (that won't attack). Full of mystical colors and void of all insects.. *sighs* Shush, that's MY fantasy.

It's good at least that Second Life allows us to fulfill most of our fantasies! The Fantasy Gacha Carnival is open!! I can't begin to tell you about all the amazing things that are there. This gorgeous gown is just one amongst a sea of endless fantasies! The gown is by Junbug of course. The quality and beauty in Junbug's gowns are just beyond words. I edited my photo but most of my editing is always with background color play and shading but this dress shimmered all on it's own! I asked a man, who I consider to be a great artist, his opinion on choosing between a night or day shot and he chose day because of the way the color of the dress caught his eye. Mind you, this is a man who loves the night like I do! Don't let this dress escape you, ESPECIALLY my fellow roleplayers!
