This Time of Year...

I don't know what it is about this time of year. I suppose people call this 'The Holiday Blues'. My issue is embracing the fact that another year has came and nearly gone by. Many people in real life and in our Second Life have come and gone too. I don't know about you, but I don't take change so well. Years can go by and a person is still a recurring thought. People that I wish were never there to begin with. I try to remind myself that had those people not come into my life, I wouldn't be where I am today. Those people were mere stepping stones. Maybe they were harsh, maybe I felt they were unnecessary but the fact is that had one little moment in life been altered, perhaps...just perhaps, life wouldn't be what it is right now. It's days like today when I don't need to over accessorize, I don't need anything accept comfort, peace, relaxation...simplicity.
