Okay so yes, it took me a couple of days to finally blog all of this but oooooh my gosh! The amount of things that have taken my breath away at the Fantasy Faire...I just can't put into words. Admittedly, I was in fact overwhelmed. Like, where do you start with so much awesome? 

I love events in SL. But I love them even more when they serve a purpose.  If you're not sure what Fantasy Faire is about, please do inform yourself! Click on the link there and see why this event gives us all such a great reason to go shopping and snag some awesome things.

I was blown away with the Spires of Andolys sim, well all of the sims were lovely! This one has a  fairy tale theme going on. In my picture above, I am playing around in the Lost Boys hideout by DRD! Yep, no zombies or gore this round DRD lovers! It's all fairy tale stuff.

I was able to take a few pictures of some of the other things that caught my eye while there. So many awesome views so, I really do hope that you've went there to not only shop but enjoy the views!

Oh so sorry my blog posts are far and few in between. It is the holidays though. But even so...just busy, busy, busy! Too many things to do and not enough Gia's! I know I promised to shorten it down to like one pic but man, I blame Maria Brink for it though. I had that 'Sick Like Me' song stuck in my head foreverrrrr and so I just ran with it and let it inspire my post.

I hope you've all had a chance to make your way to Gothmas by Gaslight. I am wearing Sakide in black, although this outfit is at Gothmas by Gaslight in white as well and just as stunning! It also comes with its own set of heels though I wanted something a lil more risque so I went with something several feet higher! Hah. I had the dress on in white first but felt very out of place so I went back to my comfort zone <3

Christmas is right around the corner and I am hoping I can get in a post this year! *crosses fingers*

I'll Take What is 'Goth'? for $500 Please!

When I applied for World Goth Fair, one of the questions was 'How often do you blog 'Goth'?" maybe not those words exactly...something like that. Honestly, I sat there for a few thinking about it. Because...what is 'Goth'? I started thinking about my RL too...how many times have I been stereotyped as 'Goth' or got my goth card checked by someone who is, well of course, far Gothier than Thou. Goth to me....is something that is not tangible, maybe on some days not even visible. 

My photo above represents me and how I typically dress (somewhat like it anyway) on a typical day at work. In a business casual, office/cubicle type environment....now would you look at me and say 'Yeah she's goth'? Sometimes you just can't tell visually. It is a way of being, forever. Not a phase. Not something you will grow out of, not something you grow into, it simply is! 

I will tell you what....underneath my business casual look...I will always be Goth. No matter my age, how I am dressed...Goth is just a part of me always. We can only wish others wouldn't judge....even other Goths judge other Goths...when what we all really should be doing is simply admiring all the diversity amongst us. By the way, my 'gothy' music is often what gets me through my day at work. We're allowed to use headphones and so I can listen to what I wish, thankfully!

My sweater that I have on is by Sakide and I love it because it has multiple options via a HUD. I can wear it like this so that I can choose another shirt to wear with or I can use the HUD to show an awesome dress that can be used with it. 

My awesome heels are by Etchaflesh, but you won't be able to see all their awesomeness in that pic so here...

Also comes with a HUD that gives you so many options to play with different prints for different styles.
