Here Comes the Rain Again

Time to start busting out the sweaters, hoodies, boots and jackets kids...winter is right around the corner!
We have these odd days where I live where the weather is so ass backwards. I'm looking out the window right now and it looks gorgeous outside! The sun is shining SO bright but at the same time, my feet are freezing and I know damn well if I went outside, it would be cold. We have days where the sun is shining bright and it's raining outside and all I can do is shake my head at mother nature and be like, "I know how you feel gurrrl."
That's how the entire month of November is for me, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Typically, in my part of the world, we're covered in snow. So I will take some rainy/cold days and hopefully the snow will hold out till December. A white Christmas is always welcome =)
I mashed up a nice little outfit that I kinda love! Nice warm colors for the season and a messy hair does the trick. Not to mention the pose which was perfect. The news lately hasn't made me want to look at it too much so why not use it for a bit of shelter?!

Hey guys and dolls! 

I hope I am finding you all in good spirits. The weekend approaches soon. I should be happy about it but I can't be lol. I've had the week off, (not by choice!) and will be returning to work Monday. The days off have been nice though and much needed in so many ways. I've been sick and simply needed the rest so I am thankful to have had these few days to spend at home. It also gave me a few more chances to pop in SL and enjoy all the shopping, events, and visits with the people I adore. 

Speaking of people I adore, DRBC recently released this adorbs dress that I knew a lot of my readers would just fall in love with! This is one of my favorite prints but she made a plethora of them, so you have a ton of options, polka dots galore and a Hello Sailor! one that is to die for! I couldn't help but take advantage of someones ride parked outside of the new Hard Alley Club! That's right, Hard Alleys Retroville has moved sims! So make sure to pop over and visit. The club is active with some pretty awesome DJ's! The music ranges from punk to rock to...just everything! The company is great and  oh yeah....I hang out there so that's a bonus right?! Come over and get down with us sometime!

Summoning Spirits, Snuggling Cats

Hey guys and dolls! Welcome to another day in Gia's World. I hope you're all doing well, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.

This is a month where I just embrace all my introvert and I look forward to my weekends of snuggling and warm drinks. You know, a nice 'Netflix and chill'. BTW...oh my goodness, did you know that phrase there, 'Netflix and chill' means something sexual?! I didn't. Out of sheer boredom, I looked it up and guess what, it means to invite someone over and...basically have sex while Netflix is going in the background. I don't get people these days haha. I am known to turn even the most innocent things into something pervy but that is just random. I don't mean random in a good way either...I more so mean that it doesn't make any damn sense. Be creative. And they ruined it for the rest of us that actually just want to chill while watching Netflix damn it! I guess this is where my age starts showing. Damn kids and their ridiculousness! Lol-
Speaking of, I devoured 'Ghost Adventures' on Netflix. I love it. I mean, I know the guys are silly but that's what makes the show for me. Who doesn't love Spooky with a side of Silly? It reminded me just how much I am in love with all things paranormal. Paranormal everything has been taking over my days lately so, pre warning...be prepared for future pics that may be inspired by my love for the paranormal!
But anyway, there are many things I love about The Pose Shop but one of the main things is that she surely can capture a realistic cozy pose and bring it into our SL. I so love my poses! I hope you've had a chance to check out the Sad November event. If you have, I hope you stopped at The Pose Shop's booth and snagged these adorbs poses!! This is a Sad November Exclusive so once it's going you're never going to see it again EVAR! Lol dramatics. Just go get it. You will love the snugs.

Voyeurism...They Like To Watch

The thing about watching is...it's naughty, you're not supposed to do it...and so it's a turn on (to some!). What you might not know is that the person you're watching, might actually like it. So who is the real perv? Haha. I mean, so long as you don't include murder....
I think one of the first movies that exposed me to 'Voyeurism' was the movie 'Psycho'. I was too young at the time to know it was even called that. This amazingness by DRD will remind you of just that. The other movie that exposed me to it was 'Sliver'....anybody watched that one? One of the Baldwins and Sharon Stone...pretty steamy stuff and so much voyeurism!
TAG Gacha is up and at em' this round! Such a great one! I hope you've all took some time out to enjoy it, and I mean that...honestly it takes some time haha. But I don't mind hopping around to all the stores for some shopping fun. It's always great to see what they will come up with.

Introverts Unite! (Separately...In Our Own Homes)

Wanna know something kind of personal about me? I'm an Introvert and I'm proud! It actually took me a loooong time to say that and understand that it was okay to say that. I was told since I was a young girl that I shouldn't be 'antisocial'. It was wrong, it was bad, it was mean, it wasn't right, etc etc. I met someone not very long ago who laughed when I said I was antisocial. She said, "You are -NOT- antisocial! You're very social. I don't know who ever would tell you that BS but, they're wrong. You may chose to socialize with only a few people, you may be selective about those you socialize with. Being out in public drains you I bet?" I agreed. "Well honey, that's not antisocial, that's Introvert. Entirely different." So I explored this new word and I embraced it and it really helped me. I hadn't realized how upset it made me to think that I couldn't just go out and be a social butterfly like a lot of other people out there can, how much it made me look down on myself because of all the BS that had been drilled in my head about this for so many years.
I understand why I look forward to hanging out with....ME! I understand why when we go out shopping, or friends ask me to go 'hang out' with them, I come back home and feel this exhaustion. Like I have to recharge a battery. I very much value my 'Me' time. I love my small circle of friends and feel no need at all for an abundance of friends. My circle is small and secure and mostly family...but I am very social with them and they will tell you that. Texting, phone, visiting...whatever it may be, they hear from me often.
My pictures reminded me a lot of the real me and so I wanted to reveal that part of me. Funny how much poses can influence everything in my portraits. They breathe life into my pictures. A lot of times, that's why it takes me forever to blog things because...I can't simply stand in front of a wall, I love telling a story. I like you to see my pictures and wonder what exactly is going on. What was she doing, is she doing, or will she do?

The Things We Hide In The Attic

Wow, that was pretty much my reaction to allll of the TAG Gacha this round. Holy hell did they blow me away with the badassery. It has been awhile since I wanted to hug and smack so many designers for being so amazingly creative and then for stealing all my damn linden! UGH! But I loved it and had fun bouncing around place to place. So who all had issues realizing you had to touch the 'Tag Here' sign? Lol. I didn't! *coughs*. Hey, it was also 3am so there! I hope you all had as much fun as I did though. I already know everyone was snagging these amazing dolls by Remarkable Oblivion! It's not only their look, their heads turn towards the nearest avatar in a very creepy way. In the Remarkable Oblivion chat group, this was said and I thought it described them perfectly! "Yes they follow you... Then when you're not looking they pull out large kitchen knives and try to slash your achille's tendon so you can't run away when they begin to stab you to death while singing "jesus loves the little children". -Mordeth Morgwain

I had to beat down the machine to get allll the things! I wanted the rares and also the mystery thingy...so if you don't know what it is, check out what I am holding! Oh I was so in love, seriously. What is this odd obsession I have with umbrellas? I can't even say but I have a ton in SL. All sorts and styles. Weird ones and stuff. This one is definitely amongst my absolute favs!

Don't worry, I wont fall! I promise. Has everyone been to The Dressing Room? It has been one of  my favorite stops for quite a long time now. It is is almost always guaranteed that you're going to run into something that you will like or something you can use. I love that you can be as creative as you want to be with it. In my picture, I duplicated it and added another wall on either side of me to make it seem like I was in some sort of high rise. "In Sleep He Sang to Me, In Dreams He Came.." {Death Row Designs 'Phantom Lair' Special}

So this post was due SO long ago but let me tell you of my struggles! It got real! How hard is it to find a gothy guy in Second Life?! Well I am sure we walk past a ton of them daily while on our shopping sprees but for some reason, they were evading me! *insert mean face here*
So I had to hunt one down. Thankfully, my fellow blogger friend Dev jumped on board for this awesome adventure with me! It is quite difficult to find Victorian goth clothes in SL that has been updated to our classy mesh stuff. Most of is is outdated and flexi. Lets fix this! If you read my previous blog, well you know my rant on the goth issues lol. So glad Dev has quite the wardrobe himself and was able to put an Phantom-esqe ensemble together. So hauntingly gorgeous! He did his job well in putting me in the mood for the photo session!

I was lucky enough to be able to see this on stage many years ago and I was just...jaw on the floor the whole time. I have been in love with this ever since then. I fell in love with Andrew Lloyd Webber and his insane talent and also Sarah Brightman and her gorgeous voice! When I saw the movie, I wasn't a hater...I just fell in love with it even more...and fell in love with Gerard Butler! Lol.

Death Row Designs is just hands down one of Gia's World's all time favorites, EVER! Jaimy now works side by side with her sister (Eowyn) and her partner in crime (Tito) and the three of them together seem to be a team of badassery! I will have to try and steal Jaimy for a moment and get her to give Gia's World a mini interview sometime, see if we can get some DRD behind the scenes info!
I was just amazed with the 'Phantom Lair' set available at the Oh My Gacha event. Yes, this event has been open for a bit, I'm late but look at it like this..at least you dont have to fight the masses to get in now! Lol and you still have 11 days left. Utilize those days well because this is definitely a set you will want. Especially my fellow Goths who love their candles and red velvet throws and whatnot. I hope I'm so late that you've already collected this WHOLE DAMN THING! It's just so stunning!
There's a total of 19 pieces to collect. The Bed, the Boat and the couch have over a hundred animations including.. cover your virgin eyes now....rated X animations! Animated Organ and the pile of trunks are animated as well.

Impeccable detail, exceptional quality and likeliness to what was in the actual movie will make you NEED these! Prepare your Phantom play list and wardrobes and get lost in this stuff, believe me, I did!

Our world is a vicious one and the fight is endless...and even when you think you've made it, you can finally relax, take that little breath and kick your feet up, there's always someone else there to knock you back on your ass. Welcome to reality. 

There is something to be thankful for though...and I really had to search for this one so, feel special. I think we've all read that Facebook picture that rolls across our feed several hundred times a day that says "Be Kind, For Everyone You Meet Is Fighting A Hard Battle", but look into it, think about it. It holds so much truth. Nobody knows what you or I are going through. I know, I can at least be thankful I've made it this far...since in this past year I've seen people who I thought to be far greater than I crumble under a battle I fight every single day. So hold your heads high, fight the battle, but be considerate. Be Thankful for what you have and for what you don't have...tomorrow is never promised. 

What is promised is that DRBC keeps me insanely busy! I'm like YEAH I can finally blog this! And here comes another release! Not complaining though! If I am busy so are you! All my sponsors keep me busy! The trench badassery I have on has literally DAYS left before it is out of Suicide Dollz so grab it before it's gone foreverrrr!!! (or until she puts it on the marketplace lol) And then keep your eyes locked on the next round of Suicide Dollz because it's a stunner! I'll try my damnedest to get right on it! 

Also, take your butts to Genre if you haven't been there already. I've already blogged a few things from there in my last post and my wonderful peg leg by DRD is there as well and it is a MUST HAVE!
