When it comes to 'Goth' fashion...it is very much up in the air. People will argue it forever I think and ultimately, it doesn't matter. What matters in the end is if YOU like it. 

What most of us can agree on is that black is the primary color. We can work with purples and red, blues and greens but pretty much always black. 

There is a model on Facebook who I absolutely adore. People have referred to her as a 'Goth' model, I don't know if you will agree, in any case though, she is just gorgeous! I find her to be breathtakingly stunning and just gawk at her pictures all creeper like lol. She managed to take a very 'gothy' picture without black in it and I simply had to bring it to Second Life!

Look up "Threnody" on Facebook and you will see exactly what I am talking about! You will also see how much she was my RL to SL inspiration. Mind you, nobody can do it as sexy as she does but I damn well tried!

It also gave an opportunity to show off the gorgeous bed set by Death Row Designs at The Secret Affair. It comes with tons of poses, single and adult. (The curtain in the front is not included). Just another gorgeous piece of DRD furniture. The Secret Affair ends on the 31st so only a few days to check it out and grab this bed while you're there!

I just got my PC all upgraded though and it seems to be loving on SL so hopefully I can get going with more projects soon!

Lemme Show You How I 'Goth' {World Goth Fair 2015}

We are like what...2 days into World Goth Fair! Have you invaded it yet?! Hells, I was allll over it days before it opened, but special blogger stuffs and all, we're allowed to so there! So I was able to see a lot of the awesomeness though a lot of the shops weren't set up yet so I will have to swing by again later!

As I have mentioned before, RL has been super hectic for me so this was my first year in a few years that I decided to not be an official blogger for World Goth Fair. I didn't want to make any promises I couldn't keep. However, I figured I would blog what I could on my own dime and on my own time. I snagged several goodies.

So just to go over a few things. In previous years, World Goth Fair was a charity event for the Sophie Landcaster Foundation but due to complications that were outlined in the World Goth Fair blog post, it is no longer so. I know this saddened a few of us but I trust that Axi and Lokii know what is best for the event and for the Goth community in SL.

The month of May holds a grand day for us 'Goths'. World Goth Day is May 22nd. This is a day we let our freak flags fly a little higher than usual. A little prouder, a little more prominent. Enough to let the rest of the world know we're here, we're strange, we're dark, we're okay with it. Amongst all of it...don't forget we also love passionately and have feelings like all the rest.

I've went on many a rant about my views on goths and some of those in the scene feeling rather 'gothier than thou' so, I will spare you all. Just keep in mind that, like it was said in a picture I saw on Facebook, "Goth should be liberating, not confining". Are you Victorian Goth? Nu Goth? Bubble Goth? Industrial Goth? ....Whatever you are, I love all of your Gothiness, and that's simply how it should be! <3

The Things We Hide In The Attic

Wow, that was pretty much my reaction to allll of the TAG Gacha this round. Holy hell did they blow me away with the badassery. It has been awhile since I wanted to hug and smack so many designers for being so amazingly creative and then for stealing all my damn linden! UGH! But I loved it and had fun bouncing around place to place. So who all had issues realizing you had to touch the 'Tag Here' sign? Lol. I didn't! *coughs*. Hey, it was also 3am so there! I hope you all had as much fun as I did though. I already know everyone was snagging these amazing dolls by Remarkable Oblivion! It's not only their look, their heads turn towards the nearest avatar in a very creepy way. In the Remarkable Oblivion chat group, this was said and I thought it described them perfectly! "Yes they follow you... Then when you're not looking they pull out large kitchen knives and try to slash your achille's tendon so you can't run away when they begin to stab you to death while singing "jesus loves the little children". -Mordeth Morgwain
Haha well, there you have it. Prepare to trade because you will want them all, each has their own lil personality.

I had to beat down the machine to get allll the things! I wanted the rares and also the mystery thingy...so if you don't know what it is, check out what I am holding! Oh I was so in love, seriously. What is this odd obsession I have with umbrellas? I can't even say but I have a ton in SL. All sorts and styles. Weird ones and stuff. This one is definitely amongst my absolute favs!

So TAG Gacha has a starting point. Put the HUD on, follow the directions that will pop up in local and start the teleportation game! Let me know how it goes and uhm...if anyone scores the black hair from Lamb, you just let me know!

Had to take a quick break from my Fantasy Faire world to give Zibska some love. Zibska is participating in the Fantasy Gacha Carnival this round with some pretty amazing and in typical Zibska form, absolutely unique hats! If you're able to squeeze your way into the event, make sure to stop at Zibska's gacha to snag these lovelies! 

Also the dress I am featuring is from Zibska and only available for a few more days (May 12th!) at The Gallery Gift Shop for only 100L. I loved it! It was a perfect snug fit on my shape and perfect for a rainy day in Spring time photo but with a little bit of an edge.

I am so on top of these late at night blog posts!  I'm a bit on the sickly side right now *sniffles* so that is my excuse for this evening. In any case...yes I did rest a bit today but also wanted to show you this lovliness by Silken Moon. This isn't the only shade either! Make sure to follow Silken Moon on Facebook to keep updated with new releases and what the head lady is up to! I'm also wearing the Silken Moon skin and so I tossed the mask aside to allow you a cleaner view...

I love pale skins and with that red gown it just made it all the better! I know you can't see my shoes but, I stopped in Kustom 9 (as per usual!) and thought these were adorable!

Many ways to wear these and I decided to add them to my SL edition of 'Lucy in the Garden' ala Bram Stokers Dracula. Couldn't you tell?! Along with my awesome pedicure done by Dark Passions, which you will see blogged often because they're just doing it for me! She seems to get my style and love for all things...dark! (Hence the name of the shop :P)

Also, Pose Fair is right around the corner! The pose in the top photo is one that I found there. It includes the Arabian Veil and the pose. A HUD is sold separately for color change options.  Such awesome poses that I will be haulin' some serious butt to show you!! So stay tuned loves!
