So mini rant about 'Fifty Shades of Grey". I did in fact read the first book. I fought to make it through it though. I tried to read the second and maybe got a chapter or so in and called it quits. I was not impressed. Firstly, the thing that bothered me the most was the fact that it was soooo unrealistic! Perfect man, perfect house, car, jet, etc. Ridiculous! Oh, lets not forget he is the CEO of his company at like what? 23? 26?

And her, the typical "I'm ugly because I wear glasses" type of girl. One who pouts and consistently bites her lip and is insecure and who eventually turns into a sex fiend for Mr. Perfect. I suppose it was entertainment for those that need to read sexcapade after sexcapade. Now that's not saying I don't enjoy such things, I'm far from being prudish but, I need a storyline. I need more than just constant sex scenes. That pizza man walking the door better have a darn good reason. *snickers*

Also, I don't like that so many people have linked it to S&M. A person that honestly understands S&M knows that their version of S&M in the book, was not even close. Okay, okay, I could rant for days but I will end it simply with, I don't like it, I'm not anticipating the movie. /endrant.

So, I have a happy mixture of Zibska and A6D, which is still going! I do so hope you've all been there and snagged just everything!

My shoulder armor and collar were some of my favs in the event! And they pretty much rounded out how I wanted to wear them and in what style. They demand such authority and so I thought I should demand it as well. 

I had a blast shooting the outfit at Immersiva. It's another sim I hope everyone has went to by now and enjoyed. Visually it is stunning and the storyline is awesome! (Far better than Fifty Shades! lol)

Oh and the song at the end about melted my heart. Anyway, go visit, enjoy it and let me know how much you loved it!

I posted some important notes about A6D in the previous blog but real quick, don't forget when you buy an item for the event, you get a HUD. All The Wrong Moves

Month of Games is up and running in SL. I already made my rounds and, in all honesty when I went, I was expecting to pop in and out but I was intrigued. So many designers participating with so many different styles, UNIQUE styles! Chess, Candyland and Clue are the game themes..and obviously, I'm showing you a lil Chess!
Zibska is participating in it. Although I loved each outfit, I choose the Bishop outfit this time. I won't pretend to know anything about chess either. I have no patience to learn that game. I can only say that marble chess tables/pieces I find to be quite beautiful. I would definitely get one for decoration and maybe, just maybe some day...I would learn to play the game. And so, that is what my photo is based on, something beautiful, making all the wrong moves. More Zibska right around the corner luvies! <3

Five, five, FIVE! Days left of Rhapsody! It saddens me. I could happily blog about this event forever. So Punk...Punk Nouveau...what is the difference? Punk with a whole other edge to it. I had a bit of a time picking which I wanted to show because they alll have something that I loved about them, but this one was the one that embodied Punk Nouveau to me.

Even In The Desert, There Is Life

This is a special post for me. Two reasons, one...I've taken too long in between blog posts of Zibska's art and secondly, I was inspired by my own feelings with these photos.

It is to represent and to show that even in the desert there is life, meaning...although things can seem like they're forever going down hill, life can be or seem to be at its worst, there is hope. Maybe you'll have to bust some butt to find that bit of hope and do a bit of soul searching, it's there. 

So hard for many of us to see it or find it, but it finds a way if you allow it. 

Rather than take this gorgeous little outfit to the water as I initially wanted to, I took it somewhere dry and desolate. Because, even in those places, you can find a some form of life. It will find a way.

Colors of My Mind

I always say Zibska is one of the toughest ones for me to blog. Not because I don't enjoy it, but because I like to sit on the projects and see how they will really move me/inspire me. She releases some amazing creations and it's always a promise that you wont find another like it on the grid. Extremely unique, extremely beautiful and extremely extreme! Honest works of art in our SL and so one cannot simply take a picture wearing it. In my minds eye, you have to be able to match it's fierceness! I took this one to the splatter house and had a ball with the photos. Surprisingly, I didn't have to edit too much. I round all my edges because I cannot stand Sl jagged edges I add shadows or highlights in places where I think the light would shade or brighten ....but this is almost all windlight work.

The skin I am in is at World Goth Fair and I thought I would take a clear shot at the bottom there without the paint splatter or hair in the way so you could see what was underneath. One of three skins by Silken Moon for World Goth Fair.  The pale skin tone with the splash of pink color was perfect for what I had in mind.
Also let me mention my gorgeous manicure done by the one and only Dark Passions. A set of rich reds and red gradients are available and definitely should be on your list of 'things to snag'.

Had to take a quick break from my Fantasy Faire world to give Zibska some love. Zibska is participating in the Fantasy Gacha Carnival this round with some pretty amazing and in typical Zibska form, absolutely unique hats! If you're able to squeeze your way into the event, make sure to stop at Zibska's gacha to snag these lovelies! 

Also the dress I am featuring is from Zibska and only available for a few more days (May 12th!) at The Gallery Gift Shop for only 100L. I loved it! It was a perfect snug fit on my shape and perfect for a rainy day in Spring time photo but with a little bit of an edge.

In A World That's Black and White...

What can I say except...Zibska challenges me. The past week has not been an easy one in my RL so...when I tried this outfit on and saw that awesome head piece...it reminded me of things I am dealing with. Feeling a bit dark and gloomy but able to embrace all that is beautiful. Still trying to learn and grow from things that have hurt me, including myself but feeling like I just...am always reaching and never obtaining. I'm sure a lot of you can relate to that...and maybe a lot of you don't or don't want to. 

The place I visited there was AMAZING! A piece of art in SL that I could also relate to.

Both of these photos were taken there. Zibska's outfits are truly a work of art in Second Life. It takes a certain style and a certain love to embrace something that is so unique and gorgeous.

So as I was about to finish this blog, she released another head piece that I wanted to show too so you get hit with a double bang!

I switched up a few things, including my scenery. These last two photos were taken at Violator Headquarters. They always have a nice set up there and it was perfect for what I had in mind.

Another amazing work of art by Zibska! It was definitely a head turner. But it embodied my thoughts of Spring! 

Once again, this is me slimming down the amount of photos I am posting. I couldn't help myself! I still have a ton more I want to delve into. 

This style isn't for everyone but you'd be amazed at what you can find and what you might fall in love with in Zibska's shop.

I found myself exploring again. I have to be careful because I wander so much that before I even realize it...I end up in someones home. I haven't been caught yet but I think I would feel exactly the way Goldilocks felt when she woke up to the 3 bears. I don't really think someone would be understanding of an excuse like, "I'm sorry, I was just really appreciating your decor. I could so take a photo here!"

Skin Fair was so awesome this year and I am glad I took my time browsing around. I ran into Silken Moon there and loved on the shop so hard. What I didn't know was that it's not only a skin shop...it has a wide variety of things to choose from. AND...it's a part of a trio of shops that will keep you busy shopping for awhile. Go visit! You won't regret it.

The SAVIAD Spring Fair is in full swing! Want a little confession? I had to go to the next sim just to peek in and see everything before it officially opened! Even the shopping experience itself is entertaining! They've obviously put a ton of work into just decorating the place.

Many many of the best SL talents are there with some breath taking creations! Gachas are everywhere too so needless to say, I dipped my hand a lil in everything!

Spring is like a rebirth to me. When winter has killed off most of everything, Spring comes in and brings it back to life. That was my inspiration for my photos here. I wanted to show you this lovely dress by Zibska and at the same time share my vision on the death of winter. 

The skin I am in I snagged at the Skin Fair. Silken Moon I only recently stumbled upon but I can say that it took me about 2 seconds to fall in love with the skins. I love unique, I love different, I love original beauty and this place definitely has them all. (Plus appliers! *claps*) The Silken Moon mainstore is nestled between two other shops. Take your time browsing through them all!

If there is anything I enjoy, it's a nice challenge. Mind you, I didn't say a challenge that is going to put me in the corner and rock while twiddling my thumbs...just a nice challenge. One that can take me out of my comfort zone and make me explore my own imagination and see all inspiration. 

That is Zibska for me.
