With the weather (slightly) changing, I'm so enjoying these summer time pics. I live vicariously through SL though because, we're expecting snow here this week! *sigh!*
So I celebrate by wearing these DRBC-kinis! So darn cute! If I can wear it with my Maitreya body and it is gorgeous it's such a double win. These are at Carnevil and in lots of different prints! So make your way there and snag them all because believe me, you will want them all!
Keeping it so short my luffs. We're simplifying a lot in Gia's World so that I can try and blog more.
I've felt bad because RL has taken it's toll on my blogging time and the only way I can keep blogging is to simplify it by A LOT. I will do my extreme pics when I have a chance but most of my pics will just be quick, fun and showing you the goods to be on your 'to snag' list!
I'm a long time resident of Second Life...if there is something I have learned while being here, it is that friendship, relationships...only go so far. That's hard to say and some have broken those statistics and remained friends, remained in relationships. I applaud them. It's not an easy thing to do online.
I do admit that I am not an easy person to get along with. I am very passionate in and out of Second Life. If I love you, prepare to be smacked in the face with said love, and if I hate you, still...prepared to be smacked in the face lol. But I don't hate anyone. That takes too much energy from you while poisoning you at the same time. I simply remove and forget. It's a survival technique I've had to learn. It may sound harsh but that's the way it has to be sometimes.
The few friends I've made, I adore so much. I'm so very thankful for them. Some of them are my sponsors and as a blogger, I couldn't be more blessed.
I gathered up some of my fellow bloggettes and we gathered together wearing some of our favorite DRBC outfits in honor of our sponsors 8th Rez day. What a blast and learning experience that one was for me!!
My corset I am wearing is (I can't pick an absolute fav, c'mon now) amongst the favorites of my DRBC outfits. Spooky and adorable, sexy and dangerous all in one!
In a blogging world where most of us focus on new releases, I think it's time we celebrate a throw back Thursday -Blogger Edition- and show off things we love that are already in the inventory! Another thing I might keep in the line-up along with my Double Bangers :D
Browse around all DRBC and fall in love with it past and present <3

I have a helluva lot of fun taking photos where I need to mentally come up with a character, background, storyline, etc. Since blogging, I don't have much time to get in any Roleplay and it was something I loved doing very much in SL (once upon a time). So I guess these photos are my lil release. A small delve into the world of roleplay, if only for a moment.
The Fantasy Collective is open and their theme this round is pretty awesome! I found myself on a 'right click/buy' frenzy and bought it all (well, a lot).
Death Row Designs never ceases to amaze me with their awesome releases. Now that Jaimy has brought her sister in on the creation process and ownership of Death Row Designs, I expect DOUBLE the awesomeness! I really feel like they brought it with this awesome mask and staff. That pretty much laid my photo ideas out for me and before I knew it, I was hexing all the ebil people that ever crossed my path! (all part of the roleplay storyline lol)
The outfit was another goodie there I couldn't leave behind. I simply loved it. From the lil bones and feathers to the muddy feet. Oh and...don't forget to grab that awesome set of eyes there!
See you shortly <3

Five, five, FIVE! Days left of Rhapsody! It saddens me. I could happily blog about this event forever. I have to haul some serious arse because I still wanna take photos for a few more things that I love. The event has been an awesome experience and I hope you all found something in one (or several) of the genres available.
Zibska is in this event too...(I know, she's a busy woman and there will be another post for Zibska soon!)
So Punk...Punk Nouveau...what is the difference? Punk with a whole other edge to it. I had a bit of a time picking which I wanted to show because they alll have something that I loved about them, but this one was the one that embodied Punk Nouveau to me.
Okay enough babbling, I have work to do! Don't miss Zibska at Rhapsody and keep updated with her new releases because she has some Ah-May-Zing ones on their way!
Oh so hard to say goodbye to an event that I wait alllll year for! Once again I say, we simply don't have enough time to blog all of everything so, I hope everyone took time to browse and enjoy the scenery while shopping for a great cause. The last update given was that we were over $2800 USD raised for SOPHIE. *cheers!* If you were part of World Goth Fair this year, pat yourselves on the back, that is awesome!
I spent the evening there tonight, dancing and having fun with friends and at the same time, being a little sad. I honestly don't like saying goodbye to the event but I know others are soon to follow. I will be anticipating next years World Goth Fair and am excited for it already.
Showcasing a few more of my favs here. Jewelry, corset, stockings....Head to toe I felt pretty badass in this outfit. My gloves are by Aliza Karu and they don't require Slink hands. It has it's own mesh hand with a HUD for skin and nail adjustments.
My tattoo is a new release by Elksa for the Hello Sunshine Event! Available in many pastels but there's also a tintable one to change it up to your liking!
See you next year World Goth Fair! I miss you already.
I have another blog ready to drop on you so I will see you again shortly loves! <3

DRBC came out with some adorable skirts for this round of Suicide Dollz. I never know how I will be inspired. My blog photos and ideas are spur of the moment and completely inspired around what I am working with. So when you look at my photos, you're looking at what that piece said to me. Not only did I see retro but I saw a different spin on retro that I don't touch too often, one that makes me dig deep into my roots. Old school, lowriders....I love it all because that is what I grew up knowing. I eventually embraced my gothy lil self but the chola girl in me is always around somewhere.
Definitely hit up Suicide Dollz this round. Lottsa grab worthy things there. I also made my way to My Attic...SURPRISE! So didnt know My Attic was on a lil retro kick! I bought it all. L. Warwick is there again and I will remind you again that when L. Warwick is on sale, take advantage! Absolutely one of my fav shoe places on the grid! Her heels are some of the sexiest. I have them on in black in my photos but here's some other favs...
So now that Fantasy Faire has came to it's end, I wanted to address a lil bit of something quick. If you've followed me since my start of blogging, you know that this is my return to Second Life. I am in fact an 'old school' SL'er. Not as old as some! But my original rez date goes back to 2006. So upon my return, mesh and all this stuff blew me away! I didn't understand it at all and I am always still learning new things.
I'd see a mesh dress from one place and then see the same dress (different print) and think it was stolen *le gasp*. I didn't know that mesh can be bought by many people and simply textured and sold. Of course there is exclusive mesh...the mesh people make themselves and only use themselves or for their shops, semi-exclusive mesh, so on and so forth. What I learned is that because of this, the quality in texture is so very important. Because, well hell...I could buy a mesh and toss some random color on it....but it's the unique prints and texture creators give it that make it stand out amongst the rest!
My little ensemble here is one with pieces that I admire very much. DRBC is in another round of Suicide Dollz with a set of tops that come in soooo many different prints! Honestly, I sat on the photo idea for awhile because I couldn't choose which I wanted to use. So many ways to wear this top and wearable with the cute azz flawlessly but I also had the Phat Azz on with it at some point and though it cut in just a tad, it was worth it!
Eudora's new camo release went perfectly with it all. Another SL creator that has the textures down flawless! I turn my camera in all directions to admire the work creators put into their creations and Eudora is one of those ones that just let you know it's a penny well spent! Small detail is incredible.
I have a certain love for jeans and I have been collecting them over some time now in Second Life. Has to be a certain type of course. These are made by Chronokit and admittedly, I fell in love with the texture on them as well.
My tattoo, well...it's Reckless, need I say more? The recent tattoos that Reckless has been dealing out are awesome and dark and full of skeletons or some other badassery, I love it! Make sure to follow Reckless on Facebook to keep up with the many events they're involved in and new releases.
Okay okay, enough chatting, I think I've made my point. Eyes open for the gorgeous texture work some of these creators are showing us. Cuz mesh is simply mesh till someone brings it to life!
