Do You Voodoo Too?

I think by now, everyone knows that I almost exclusively get my nails did at Dark Passions. There's a reason that I give that place so much love and devotion though. Seriously, if you're not familiar with the shop, you're missing out! Originality a lil bit o' gore, horror, goth, nu goth, pastel goth, Victorian goth and if you look close enough, you might find some cutesy designed nails there. Both Maitreya and Slink friendly (With special requests for Belleza), it's definitely a shop I adore.
I know a lot of people are like, one color and go when it comes to nail polish. I'm a bit pickier myself. But, there are days when I don't want to mess around too much and I have a favorite 'go to' polish and that's the  Dark Passions - Koffin Nails: Roaring 20s & Dirty 30s OR DP - Koffin Nails - French Manicure - Black Tips. I love them both and they go with alll the things!
So I did a special lil nail blog post with a closie of some badassery nails that Dark Passions released for Horror Haute. C'mon now, how often are you going to be able to say you wore voodoo pins in your nails? Nevar! The prices are always shockingly low so, do take advantage! "I'm Taking Control, I'll Assimilate Your Soul, I Will Rule Your Mind..."

I am sure you have all heard me many times go on my lil rants about how Goth in SL needs to 'evolve'...by saying that, I am usually talking about the flexi that has stayed in a lot of the clothes, system clothes (although when done right with appliers can be great!).
Also thinking outside of the box. In EVERY genre, not only Goth...the best thing we can do is put things together because WE like it. Because it feels and looks great to YOU. Regardless if some asshole is sitting there telling you how crappy it looks, how they don't like it, how they would never wear it, how it looks ridiculous, etc etc. That is THEIR point of view and not yours. You will find that they often wear things that you just shake your head at and wonder what the hell they were thinking when they put that together. It's all about perspective and everyone has a different one. What I wish is that more people were aware at just how rude they are when voicing theirs. Not everyone has to agree with your perspective, and you cannot force them to. What you will end up doing, if that person is like me, is pushing them away. So...careful of your words. Honest opinions are always a good things but never force your personal style/views etc. on anyone.
One of my recent obsessions has been a newer blogger named Judas. Of course he's sexy, Do I have to point that out? That's obvious but far beyond that is his sense of style. Quite honestly, it's like one I have not seen before. It's edgy, it's goth and sometimes not, it's Androgynous and sometimes not, it's unique, it's incredibly sexy....quite simply put, I can't think of a better person who's claws I'd rather have on my bewbage than his! He's not afraid to wear guyliner, nail polish and heels...I just adore it! So, love all over his blog, as it is male AND female friendly!  <3 your Judas! You can put your claws on me any day! With the weather (slightly) changing, I'm so enjoying these summer time pics. I live vicariously through SL though because, we're expecting snow here this week! *sigh!*

Hello hello! Hope you all have been having a great weekend. It warmed up a bit on my side of the world so that was a good thing. By 'warmed up', I mean it got to be like high 20's! Woo!
So I had to sneak in a quickie because I loved this lil outfit as soon as I saw it. It came with another I loved too so gotta get on that! This is Insanya for Whore Couture. "Evil Queens Are the Princesses That Were Never Saved..."

When I was a young girl, I remember questioning things in stories that would make my teachers smile and give me funny looks, in a good way. One of the things I wondered about was why the evil Queen in the story was evil. I would ask and sometimes they would give me a half-assed explanation but most of the time they would simply say she wasn't the focus of the story. I always wanted to know why she was the way she was, why she did the things she did.

If you're wondering, yes I did/do love Maleficent the movie and loved the Disney character. 

When I took this photo and found this pretty, dark little part of this sim...a dark Queen is what I was reminded of. But I never forget that in Gia's World, the Dark Queens have a reason for being Dark or Evil.

My lovely horns atop my head are by Remarkable Oblivion, available at The Secret Affair and of course they're stunning as usual! They're available in 2 different colors, this dark color and a 'dusk' which would essentially be the ivory tone. You'll want them both believe me! Also resizable. Yours don't have to be as big as mine...I just like mine like that :P

So, there's this lil movie called 'Secretary'. Have you heard of it? Watched it? Loved it?! It's certainly one of Gia's all time fav movies evar. Why? Well...of course, the kink is genuine. It is real, it is true to BDSM, it is everything 50 Shades will never be *snickers*. The acting is awesome, unique story line. James Spader became my old man crush with that one. If you haven't watched it, you won't be able to really appreciate my photos. They are entirely inspired by this awesome movie. Give it a try and it's quite alright if you don't understand it, many don't. But if you love it and do understand it, you've come to know Gia at a whole other level. *winks*

When I saw that DRBC released this gorgeous lil outfit, it is ALL that came to mind. Yep, I can type 518674164 words per minute, I can answer the phone and take messages like a pro, I will make you the best darn cup o' coffee you've ever had, I will keep your life in order, I will be your amazeballs Secretary....with a dash of kink on the side! That's what this outfit said to me...now tell me what it says to you. 

Oh and by the way...the Reign heels for Enchantment made me wanna lick 'em! Nice lil addition to my perfect concoction of fetish deliciousness!

Oh this post is SO special to me!! I've said many times that before blogging, I followed certain blogs religiously. Most listed over there on the right side of my page. I'm a picky person. I want style, creativity, uniqueness! So hard to find that amongst this huge sea of bloggers we have. And no, that's not my way of talking any of my fellow bloggers down, I'm simply saying...we all do things differently....or well, we all should do things differently! It's what catches the eye.
In any case....I fell in love with a lil bloggess named Vita Vonmonster (as she's listed in her blog). If you're able to take a peak that way, you'll see how much she's inspired my blog and done her job darn well in making me spend lindens on things!

She and I share a love for DRBC & FK! Designs so I nudged her in world and told her to doll up as Harley Quinn and come fight me! I didn't expect that she'd say yes though! I fan girl flailed a bit. Yes, I fan girl over my favorite bloggers! It takes a ton of time and devotion and creativity to do all of this, I have every right to admire them. <3 She's a peach! I have my Joan Jett attitude going on here. There's something about motorcycles that I love. Not too much of a secret that I am more of a bad girl than a good girl so maybe it's the whole danger thing...maybe it's the joy of the ride...In any case, I love bikes! I love seeing women on bikes! People like to make it out to be a guys kinda thing but it's a hobby that can be enjoyed by everyone (Safely! Wear your darn helmets and no messing around on the road!).

The Rock Attitude Fashion Fair is in full swing. I've already made my rounds and hope everyone has made it over to see what these creators have available. 

{MV} is participating in the event and I couldn't pass up these pants. I love them! Not having to choose a pair of shoes (in my case) easily saves about 45 minutes of my time, so these pants with shoes attached are a win! Then I saw the flames and I just imagined "biker babe". I was lost in my inventory for awhile trying to find the right top for it till this pretty jacket floated onto my lap (THANKFULLY!)
