Gothmas Awakens the Bride

I told you Gothmas by Gaslight was right around the corner! It's here! It started! This is an event for those of us that can embrace the darker side of this holiday and all the beauty of it!

Right now I am feeling semi overwhelmed with everything that this event has to offer lol so much to show so first things first, I had to show some DRBC luff!

Though there are a few options for you from DRBC, I am showcasing this amazing lil gown. I immediately thought of my fellow roleplayers, and people that roam the medieval sims. This is a gown you wont want to pass up. So simple but very pretty. I ran into this gorgeous photo online and it inspired the bride to awaken and celebrate the holidays! So of course, I couldn't think of a better dress or brand to bring the Bride to life with than my beloved DRBC.

So, there's this lil movie called 'Secretary'. Have you heard of it? Watched it? Loved it?! It's certainly one of Gia's all time fav movies evar. Why? Well...of course, the kink is genuine. It is real, it is true to BDSM, it is everything 50 Shades will never be *snickers*. The acting is awesome, unique story line. James Spader became my old man crush with that one. If you haven't watched it, you won't be able to really appreciate my photos. They are entirely inspired by this awesome movie. Give it a try and it's quite alright if you don't understand it, many don't. But if you love it and do understand it, you've come to know Gia at a whole other level. *winks*

When I saw that DRBC released this gorgeous lil outfit, it is ALL that came to mind. Yep, I can type 518674164 words per minute, I can answer the phone and take messages like a pro, I will make you the best darn cup o' coffee you've ever had, I will keep your life in order, I will be your amazeballs Secretary....with a dash of kink on the side! That's what this outfit said to me...now tell me what it says to you. 

Oh and by the way...the Reign heels for Enchantment made me wanna lick 'em! Nice lil addition to my perfect concoction of fetish deliciousness!

The Fallen {Fantasy Faire}

Hey, don't blame me for going on a Fantasy Faire frenzy of blogness. We're given a few days to show you so many things and I just feel...so cheated because I want to show more!

The bloggers (and everyone else who wanted to join) were given challenges to participate in. One of them is called 'Why I Relay'. I wasn't sure if I should/would do this challenge but I think it's something that must be known. The challenge states that it "is for those who do have a personal reason to support Relay for Life events and who would like to share it."

Why do I Relay? Because I am damn mad at Cancer. I remember being in 3rd grade and having a friend named 'Sammy'. He was funny, loud, in your face kinda kid. We had this tire swing that he loved. He'd get on it and wave me over and I would spin him around till we were both pukous. Aaaaand one day Sammy was gone. He was also gone the next day and days and days following that. Nobody ever told us why, he simply wasn't there. Maybe they thought we all would only breifly wonder, then go on with our lives but, I couldn't. With help of my family, I found that Sammy was in the hospital due to complications from his Leukemia. When he found out I was asking for him, he made sure to request 'crispitos' from school and so I would smuggle mine out for him. We did this till my sister had to tell me Sammy wasn't at the hospital anymore...he had passed away. What a shocker for me as a kid. I never forgot him or his round face, most of all his smile. My cousin Benny also had his fight with Cancer and passed away in 2001. A cousin I was just getting to know but he was already loved dearly. The rage inside of me was more than I could express and so I didn't. I boxed it up. My grandfather, another one that passed away due to lung cancer. I never even met him. He died months before I was born. 

I relay for the fallen. I can't bring myself to say that they 'lost' their fight with cancer. I won't. They fought harder than most people ever will. I relay for those that are dealing with it right now. I relay to let Cancer know how damn mad I am at it. How much the world needs to be without it ever invading any of our lives ever again.

Oh and by the way, The Plastik made some amazing skins for Fantasy Faire. Seriously breath taking work. Don't miss them!

A lil birdy flew by and told me that even though the events at Fantasy Faire have come to an end, the place will stay in tact till about Tuesday so fret not! You still have a few days to go there and grab a few more things!!

sTEAL My Retro Luvin' Heart!

Something about Spring and Summer that brings out the retro lover in me. Well, it's there all the time but, more so during those two seasons. I love that in that era, class happened at ALL times! "Hunny, be right back! Just going to grab a few things at the grocery store." And of course, you see the lady dolled up from head to toe. Serving pancakes to the family as the hubby then grabs his briefcase and heads out to work...but not before that loving smooch is given! The kids smile and run waving to her as they're off to school and she does the dishes and plans the menu for the rest of the week with a Colgate smile! HAH! It's a dream. 

I seriously spend so much time at this sim because there isn't one corner of it that I don't love. And...it's so quiet! There's nothing over the top there. It is just so realistically retro that...it makes me feel right at home.
Who else to wear there but my DRBC? Of Course!! You're not doing retro right if you're not in DRBC. Don't argue.

Honestly had a helluva time choosing which one of these dresses to share with you because each of them bring out a different vibe. This teal color being played with is one of the newer colors being featured and I fell in love...all over again! *le sigh!*
Perfect excuse to pair with my Eudora wedges and hand bag! Eudora has become a shoe shop that I admit, I fan girl for. Quality in the texture, originality they have got it all!

These are my wedges. I caress them lovingly. Well, not really but my goodness! One of my favorites!

The handbag came with it too and all with a HUD to change colors to your liking. Don't worry, you'll probably see these blogged several times over.

Can't forget my manicure! Dark Passions is just being soooo busy! One of the main places I will go to get my SL nails done. I was so delighted to see Dark Passions at the cosmetic fair this round! And YES, it started!

I have to say that Masumi Max is my all time favorite new age pin up gal. She inspires soooo much of my pin-up style and random cutesy photos. I find her extremely adorable. Her animated facial expressions in her photos and odd poses make her stand out from the rest of the crowd.

Okay so now that I've let my girl crush out of the bag.... Elska is participating in the 100 Block along with sooooo many other designers! I love the 100 Block and anticipate it each round!
These adorbs shorts come in several different prints besides this one I am showing. I love my polka dots though! I know we have like 50000 events going on but you're NOT going to want to miss the 100 Block! Stop by Elska's booth and snag these cute bottoms...but prepare for the butt pinching and random spanks!

There Is No Light Without Dark {Dead Apples Skin Fair 2014}

If you're anything like me...an event can open. You have something in mind you want to get at and so you'll grab it, but see something else later and go again, and again, and again. Yes, this is me alll the time. What can I say? Second Life is my Barbie time! The Dead Apples skin at the skin fair is one of those ones that people were saying was gorgeous and so on and on and on. I gave it a try myself and did love it. Specifically the nose and I cant say why really. It's really rounded and just makes me want to pinch. It has a softness to it that is so very innocent...at least that's the way it looked on me! The eyebrows were another favorite. Flawless! Honestly one of my favorite skins in the bunch. You'll see it blogged often that's for sure.

Like I said, each skin seems to change depending on shape. Demo, demo, demo! (And by the way YAY for the creators in SL that don't charge for demos!!) If you don't have this one in your inventory by now, make sure you give it a try and see how it looks on you!

Also, I had a friend who recently had issues with her slink hand appliers. This has happened to me before too. If your hands turn a shade of white when using the skin applier, make sure you add your 'utilities' HUD that is included in your slink hands folder and click tattoos off. If you don't see a 'utilities' HUD, go to the Slink mainstore and use the redelivery system to upgrade your hands/feet.
