I have a shit ton to catch up on! I know, I know. I had some fun playing with the new release from Death Row Designs, a wonderful selection of light fixtures that are available at Chapter 4.
There's several different ones to choose from so if you haven't been over to the event, make sure to hop over and grab all the DRD stuff, especially because it is in the 99L room! Lighting is always a great thing to play around with in your SL homes, and as you can see above, even to play around with in pictures <3

Such is life, real life....taking up all my precious blog time. That's alright though. It gives me a chance to bring a more artsy side to myself out and that is always my favorite way to blog.
With my lack of blog time, of course is the lack of time to be in game as well and that saddens me...and also beings many questions to mind.

Our relationships in SL are precious, I mean, at least they are to me. When I make a friend, I keep my friends. When I am not able to log in, I miss my friends. If I were a sim (as in a sim character from the game 'The Sims'), my social level would be dropping drastically. Most of my socializing is done in Second Life because, as I've said many times, I'm an introvert.
The point I am getting at here is, how well do you know your friends? Are they willing to reach out to you when you don't log in? Will they forget about you should you decide to take a break from Second Life?
The friends that I know will go above and beyond, are the ones that I hold dearest to me. Though I love them all...some of you I would take a bullet for....like in the leg or something though.<3
In this game, the one we devote so much time to...it's just my personal thought and experience that, you only ever make a couple REAL friends. Treat them well, cherish them. 

So I had a chance to show off another Petite Mort dress in my creepy lil pic. Though I thought of all kinds of fanciful ways to doll it up, the darker side of me took over and this happened instead...and I was happy with it. With 6 different shades available, I am sure you will love it as much as I do.

Elven Sanctuary {Fantasy Faire 2015}

With over $5 Million Linden raised so far for Relay for Life, Fantasy Faire has been ah-may-zin! I wish I had all the time in the world, there was certainly a whole lot more I would have loved to show you. I hope that you've all been there by now and had a good time participating in the events, shopping for a good cause and enjoying the incredible scenery.

Each sim is just so well put together, I seriously could take fantasy themed pictures there all day for several months and not get bored and have them all look different! 

So they gave us some blogger challenges and last year I took up a couple. I talked about the first time I heard of cancer. It is definitely something I will never forget. This years challenge, I thought I would tap into a little bit of the  roleplay side of me which is one I used to show a lot more in the beginning of Gia's World and not so much now as I am always feeling rushed between this and real life. SO...this blogger challenge states: Faire Folk- Create a character from the Fairelands. Pick one of the Faire sims as their home, make a look mostly from Faire items, make the character come alive. Take at least one picture of that character in the chosen home sim and blog away!

My character is Daneilea. Born of the Sylvan pride. Princess and heir to the throne. Great Priestess of Arcane Sorcery. Her days are filled with magick, music and love. The love she has for her family, her over protective father and brothers, the people of The Sylvan of Spells and her homeland.

Although I could get on for days about what Daneilea does with her time or how she uses her magick, I still have lots to show and so little time so! Moving forward...

There's Things With Horns & Saucer Eyes!!

I'm so glad I finally made it over to Pumpkin Town! Such a cute little place that brought back so many childhood Halloween memories. Definitely pay it a visit if you haven't. 

So today is the FINAL day for Vintage & Cool and in typical Gia fashion, I had to sneak in a last post before it's gone and we don't see it again for awhile. 

I had to get in some Goth1co love, it's a shop that has long been in my Second Life, since the beginning of my days. I'm always happy to see that Keishi (owner of Goth1co), keeps involved in events, hunts, etc and keeps the shop alive. It's good to see the shops that were around in my first days of SL still going strong. Goth1co for The Vintage & Cool Fair had a psychobilly swirl to it and so it won me over. I'll admit that though I love love my rockabilly stuff, psychobilly will win me over hands down!

I complimented it all with a cute bag I snagged from The Little Bat for the Kawaii vs. Creepy Gacha, I love it sooooo!! Spooky and cute at the same time I had to have it on me. Speaking of spooky and cute, MishMish I love love you! Cutest lil monsters evar for the Tag Gacha  and I took them out to Trick or Treat with me in the top pic. To complete the look I rounded it off with a nice new pale skin from Skindustrial Bodyworks. A new bloody makeup set is available for this months round of Horror Haute and those smexy red lips are in the package with appliers for Nyam AND Loudmouth. The skin isnt available yet but will be soon and believe me, for my gothy and pale skin lovers, you're going to want it!

Heels by L. Warwick of course for N21 along with the other awesomeness there. Make sure to snag them!

What I wanted to say before I go though is that I hope you all really enjoyed yourselves this season. Try to remember what it was like as a kid. I know its not the same for all of us. Some of us are Halloween lovers and some of us enjoy Christmas more...but when I was a kid, it was alllll about Halloween. It was such a big event in our family. We almost never bought costumes because making them homemade was always way better and so much more fun. Anyway those masks from the 80's were a hazard!

That's what I tried to base my top picture on...the spirit of Halloween and never losing it. 

I am sure I will see you all again before then but have a blast, we only have a few days left till Halloween and YOU only have a few hours left before Vintage & Cool is over! <3

A Little Jazz, A Little Intrigue

MadPea always keeps me on my toes with their many events and games. I guess I didn't really know about their roleplay type clothing though. If you know me, then you may know that I am an old school roleplayer, not only from Second Life but from many other games as well. So I can't help when I see outfits like this but to jump all over them and get in character!

I was looking for just the right pieces to fit it all together and as the Rhapsody event is right around the corner and the items (Which I am amazed with!) are coming in, I came upon this hair. The hat, which is attached, sealed the deal for me! Makes me feel all Secret Agent Girl and stuff!

Obviously....this is going to be one of my favorite posts. If I can get something to just flow...it is because I honestly love it. There are times when I stare at an outfit and the process of putting it on, taking it off, adding it with this or that...it can last for days! But more times than not, I run into these outfits and accessories that are like pieces of a puzzle. I got them all at different times but they were just all supposed to be together!!

In typical Gia routine...horror is revisiting the blog again. Not just horror though, vampires. I Love my vampires beyond what any words could express. I love the darkness, I love being able to express my gothy side in a classy & elegant manner. Many try to do that....many fail. 

Silken Moon makes that all pretty easy on me. She dressed me, Pomposity adorned me with the jewels and Eudora....well, Eudora owns my shoe loving soul! Try to get me out of these stilettos. I DARE YOU! <3

So I finish shooting the pics and Boudoir decides to show me this throne....HALT. I had to go back and retake the pictures to include the throne because it is ah-may-zing! Not made to be rezzed but worn! That's right, blogger dream come true! I didn't have to worry about going to a land where I could rez objects for my photo....I just had to wear my chair and it sat me down next to this handsome man and made me feel like the Dark Goddess I am. Make your way there and check out the throne and the other versions of it. There is a purdyful spring looking one of you non-horror lovers....just go ahead and grab them all.

Oh this post is SO special to me!! I've said many times that before blogging, I followed certain blogs religiously. Most listed over there on the right side of my page. I'm a picky person. I want style, creativity, uniqueness! So hard to find that amongst this huge sea of bloggers we have. And no, that's not my way of talking any of my fellow bloggers down, I'm simply saying...we all do things differently....or well, we all should do things differently! It's what catches the eye.
In any case....I fell in love with a lil bloggess named Vita Vonmonster (as she's listed in her blog). If you're able to take a peak that way, you'll see how much she's inspired my blog and done her job darn well in making me spend lindens on things!

She and I share a love for DRBC & FK! Designs so I nudged her in world and told her to doll up as Harley Quinn and come fight me! I didn't expect that she'd say yes though! I fan girl flailed a bit. Yes, I fan girl over my favorite bloggers! It takes a ton of time and devotion and creativity to do all of this, I have every right to admire them. <3 She's a peach! She may be a slightly scary peach but that's why she's loved. Us creepy girls rock it!
