Oh my loves, my deepest apologies for not being here for you! But if you know me then I am sure you understand why. Halloween is such a busy time for my little family and right after it is Dia de los Muertos which we have celebrated for many many many generations in our family. Far beyond sugar skulls  and face paints, it is something we hold dear and sacred. From the feast to the clothing we chose to wear for three days straight. Music, altars, photographs, homemade candles, homemade sweetbreads and our family favorites. It's something I am hoping to keep going strong so that generations to come will continue the tradition. So you see? I wasn't ignoring a single one of you, that I promise. 

Of course I will come back to you with DRBC breathing some life back into me, so to speak. 

I had a chance to celebrate a lil bit of my Dia de los Muertos with some friends at The Rubb that always throw the best Day of the Dead bash evar! It is a day long event (literally) and attending their events is almost like attending class. You will want to bring a pen and paper and take note because these people know their music like no other. I always come back from their events searching down artists and buying tunes online! This is the outfit I rocked there that day.

So mini rant about 'Fifty Shades of Grey". I did in fact read the first book. I fought to make it through it though. I tried to read the second and maybe got a chapter or so in and called it quits. I was not impressed. Firstly, the thing that bothered me the most was the fact that it was soooo unrealistic! Perfect man, perfect house, car, jet, etc. Ridiculous! Oh, lets not forget he is the CEO of his company at like what? 23? 26?

And her, the typical "I'm ugly because I wear glasses" type of girl. One who pouts and consistently bites her lip and is insecure and who eventually turns into a sex fiend for Mr. Perfect. I suppose it was entertainment for those that need to read sexcapade after sexcapade. Now that's not saying I don't enjoy such things, I'm far from being prudish but, I need a storyline. I need more than just constant sex scenes. That pizza man walking the door better have a darn good reason. *snickers*

Also, I don't like that so many people have linked it to S&M. A person that honestly understands S&M knows that their version of S&M in the book, was not even close. Okay, okay, I could rant for days but I will end it simply with, I don't like it, I'm not anticipating the movie. /endrant.

So, I have a happy mixture of Zibska and A6D, which is still going! I do so hope you've all been there and snagged just everything!

My shoulder armor and collar were some of my favs in the event! And they pretty much rounded out how I wanted to wear them and in what style. They demand such authority and so I thought I should demand it as well. 

I had a blast shooting the outfit at Immersiva. It's another sim I hope everyone has went to by now and enjoyed. Visually it is stunning and the storyline is awesome! (Far better than Fifty Shades! lol)

Oh and the song at the end about melted my heart. Anyway, go visit, enjoy it and let me know how much you loved it!

I posted some important notes about A6D in the previous blog but real quick, don't forget when you buy an item for the event, you get a HUD. Wear it and go to that designers mainstore for a discount on the second half of the item! It's an all around win win with awesome creations at a discounted price!

Long overdue blog post! And I've just been in this outfit for days and loving it and enjoying all the compliments! I'm surrounded by a loving bunch <3
I've always loved the post apocalyptic movies. Mad Max, Doomsday, etc. So, although I thought of going for the more Domme look, I opted for the post-apoc biker chick. It's something about those films that makes you wonder what you would do in a post-apoc world. We can all make guesses and try to be badasses but I suppose we'll have to wait our turn!
These pants are a recent FK! Designs release and they are amongst my fav. Say it with me kids, it's something I say often..Mesh is only mesh until a designer breathes life into it! And Frost Kit, owner of FK! Designs did just that. The pants are sexy with so much badassery to pull off my lil other-worldly look. My Harness is recently dropped by DRBC and with a promo price on the MP for only 100L! It's a must have.

So like I said in my previous blog, Rhapsody is right around the corner and I for one, am SUPER excited! I am going to try my best to show you a million and five things in a short amount of time (something I admittedly am NOT good at!). I love taking my time and enjoying stuff so it's hard for me to crunch but there are some pretty awesome things in this event that I have seen so far. 

What is Rhapsody? It's a musically themed event that is going to bring everything from furniture to hair, clothes, poses and everything in between based off of 8 different genres of music! I love my music and I love seeing how music inspires others so I am loving all over this!

I took my first look out to the land of punk. I love The Social Scene. You might find me there just relaxing while I am sorting my inventory or preparing another outfit and all just so I can enjoy the music. Even when events are held there, their DJ's are some of the most entertaining and will teach you a thang or two about some good punk!

My tops are older ones but blogging this punk look finally gave me an opportunity to show off a vest I've loved forever from a lil shop in SL that I adore called Redrum. If you haven't been there, make it a point to fix that. No seriously, it is quite an interesting shop. A lil blood and gore with a sense of humor can never go wrong!

My boots, skirt, and nails are by one of my fav people evar! Bcreative, owner of Dark Passions, honestly makes some of the best nails on the grid. Unique and detailed I love them! The ones I am wearing in the photos match my boots and my skirt also made by her, gotta coordinate! I look forward to her adding more clothes and shoes to her collection! These will be available at Rhapsody! Check em' out...

My hair..I was super excited about! I only recently said that more mohawks, newer ones need to be made with the fancy shmancy mesh and of course, the wonderful Mina brought us this badassery of a hawk! I love her hair for many reasons but one of them is that with materials enabled, I dont have to highlight at all in photoshop for you to see details! They're just making it easier and easier on me.

A Little Jazz, A Little Intrigue

MadPea always keeps me on my toes with their many events and games. I guess I didn't really know about their roleplay type clothing though. If you know me, then you may know that I am an old school roleplayer, not only from Second Life but from many other games as well. So I can't help when I see outfits like this but to jump all over them and get in character!

I was looking for just the right pieces to fit it all together and as the Rhapsody event is right around the corner and the items (Which I am amazed with!) are coming in, I came upon this hair. The hat, which is attached, sealed the deal for me! Makes me feel all Secret Agent Girl and stuff!

Hello luvs! I hope everyone has had a chance to make it into Pose Fair! If you haven't, don't worry! It doesn't end till May 3rd so, you still have a bit to get in there and get what you want but you don't have forever! I was quite taken back by the set up and maybe overwhelmed at first but navigating it is quite easy. However, I will try to provide you all with direct TP's to the shops I am going to be showcasing.
In the theme of all things 'Spring', I found this pose/prop to be very adorable. This prop actually includes 15 different poses (these are just the ones I loved the most!) Also only 5 land impact. So pose for a photo or keep it in your place because it is adorbs! Either way, win win! The extra little floating cloud near me is also included

When I saw Sn@tch's new releases...I knew this Babydoll top was the one to use here! So many cute new Sn@tch releases! Maybe you are supposed to wear leggings with it...I'm sure you can but I chose not to! Actually...note here: wear panties at least! floating up in the air and realizing you don't have undies on can be quite a :o moment.
