Hey dolls! 

I am playing super catch up again, as I have like a floooood of shit just piling up in my brain! Like I wanna take pics of this, and that, gotta blog this, etc. Meanwhile in RL, hectic! Tis' the season for it though. Oddly enough though, this weekend, it snowed, we were trapped in doors, and I had a bit of a break and was able to get in several blog pics.

I neeeeeded to blog this top because I loved it. I <3 me some Pac though. "Omg wut Gia is like all metal/gothy like though!" ......And?! Haha I grew up around soooo many genres of music and I am SO thankful for that! I grew up to know/love/appreciate the real rap artists of our time, and Tupac was one of them. Real messages, real experiences, real beats. Damn, I miss it!

Also, let me include that...several events have opened (of course!). One of them was Tres Chic. We had early blogger access  and the quick fingers in me bought a skin before the creator had actually finished set-up! Lol. I sent her a notecard thinking there was a mix-up and instead of being crabby about it, she was super awesome and just apologized and sent me the correct applier. I soooo love SL creators that are down to earth and ready to answer questions and help out when they can. It makes me want to be a devout customer. With the incredible quality of the skins, that won't be a problem!!

I wont keep you all though. I had to show this mash-up of super cuteness so you could join in on this odd collab of urban witchery haha <3

Hey luvs! I hope I am finding you all in good spirits <3

Real life still has me super busy right now but my blog is always on my mind. I can be at work, thankfully we're allowed to use Ipods, so I will have my music on and it brings to mind so many pics I would love to take for the blog or even just for Flickr. So you're all never far from my thoughts, just so you know! 

As all residents of Gia's World know, I can never get enough of DRBC! This little outfit was released for Erotigacha. I was away during that time so I didn't have a chance to show it off but it couldn't sit there without recognition in Gia's World! I know a lot of you would love it as much as I did. There are several different print options available that you will definitely want!
Whenever I can flaunt my 'Witchy' wardrobe in SL or in RL, I am all for it and this is surely one you will want in your collection too.

I love the weather we're having in my corner of the world. If it stayed like this forever I would be incredibly happy but unfortunately it will not. It gets so humid and nasty and then my irritability just goes right through the roof. I need to have the air conditioning on or wind at my face at all times! Oh and water of course!

The days that are so mixed up, remind me of a confused person. They don't know whether to be happy or sad about something and so they're a bit of both. Sunny and then it suddenly starts to pour down rain..and it brings the cool. Is it bad that on days like this I love to walk barefoot if just for a moment? It's small things like this that we have to enjoy. Maybe we don't have to be happy all the time...that's another thing I have to learn myself. Something I beat myself up for. We don't have to be happy all the time...but when we find something, even if it's something small, even if it's for a moment, grab that right up and enjoy that happiness!

I loved this little look I had going on. I don't get to enjoy it enough but I think you will be seeing more of it in Gia's World! It makes me happy! This adorbs Mexican embroidered top is a super bargain and at The Wash sale, so are my shades! Seriously, with these sales, there is just no reason for 'newb' looks in SL. Once again I will say we're honestly spoiled! Take advantage and look around this place. You will find something!

Do You Voodoo Too?

I think by now, everyone knows that I almost exclusively get my nails did at Dark Passions. There's a reason that I give that place so much love and devotion though. Seriously, if you're not familiar with the shop, you're missing out! Originality a lil bit o' gore, horror, goth, nu goth, pastel goth, Victorian goth and if you look close enough, you might find some cutesy designed nails there. Both Maitreya and Slink friendly (With special requests for Belleza), it's definitely a shop I adore.
I know a lot of people are like, one color and go when it comes to nail polish. I'm a bit pickier myself. But, there are days when I don't want to mess around too much and I have a favorite 'go to' polish and that's the  Dark Passions - Koffin Nails: Roaring 20s & Dirty 30s OR DP - Koffin Nails - French Manicure - Black Tips. I love them both and they go with alll the things!
So I did a special lil nail blog post with a closie of some badassery nails that Dark Passions released for Horror Haute. C'mon now, how often are you going to be able to say you wore voodoo pins in your nails? Nevar! The prices are always shockingly low so, do take advantage! These lil ebil cuties are only 50L at Horror Haute so go take a look and lemme see the voodoo that you do!

I am sure you have all heard me many times go on my lil rants about how Goth in SL needs to 'evolve'...by saying that, I am usually talking about the flexi that has stayed in a lot of the clothes, system clothes (although when done right with appliers can be great!).
Also thinking outside of the box. In EVERY genre, not only Goth...the best thing we can do is put things together because WE like it. Because it feels and looks great to YOU. Regardless if some asshole is sitting there telling you how crappy it looks, how they don't like it, how they would never wear it, how it looks ridiculous, etc etc. That is THEIR point of view and not yours. You will find that they often wear things that you just shake your head at and wonder what the hell they were thinking when they put that together. It's all about perspective and everyone has a different one. What I wish is that more people were aware at just how rude they are when voicing theirs. Not everyone has to agree with your perspective, and you cannot force them to. What you will end up doing, if that person is like me, is pushing them away. So...careful of your words. Honest opinions are always a good things but never force your personal style/views etc. on anyone.
One of my recent obsessions has been a newer blogger named Judas. Of course he's sexy, Do I have to point that out? That's obvious but far beyond that is his sense of style. Quite honestly, it's like one I have not seen before. It's edgy, it's goth and sometimes not, it's Androgynous and sometimes not, it's unique, it's incredibly sexy....quite simply put, I can't think of a better person who's claws I'd rather have on my bewbage than his! He's not afraid to wear guyliner, nail polish and heels...I just adore it! So, love all over his blog, as it is male AND female friendly!  <3 your Judas! You can put your claws on me any day! Check out his blog, bookmark it and luff the fluff out of it!

I totally let my vibe this past Sunday inspire my picture here. I wasn't sure how I wanted to blog this all but...It was such a gray day,  it was gorgeous. The windows were open and the threat of rain had the wind running rampant, cleansing my house in the process. My candles were flickering and through it all, I had Stevie Nicks singing sweetly. Honestly, I haven't felt that sort of magic in a long time and it felt quite lovely. 

I absolutely fell in love with these little dresses that DRBC released for Suicide Dollz! They come in several different colors (HUD), several different rich colors I should say. I'm not used to seeing those colors in DRBC but she pulls it all off flawlessly! This was like the perfect springtime dress and I don't care if you wanna be all witchery with it or not, the colors let you decide how you will wear it.

Though I thought of wearing shoes...I just couldn't. I was feeling nature in all its glory in my real life and it passed right through to my SL.

I apologize for my mini break. With the holiday this weekend, work was insanely hectic but...on a good note, I was able to get some photos taken for more posts because of the long weekend. So I will be back soon, and with company! (hint hint!)

Lemme Show You How I 'Goth' {World Goth Fair 2015}

We are like what...2 days into World Goth Fair! Have you invaded it yet?! Hells, I was allll over it days before it opened, but special blogger stuffs and all, we're allowed to so there! So I was able to see a lot of the awesomeness though a lot of the shops weren't set up yet so I will have to swing by again later!

As I have mentioned before, RL has been super hectic for me so this was my first year in a few years that I decided to not be an official blogger for World Goth Fair. I didn't want to make any promises I couldn't keep. However, I figured I would blog what I could on my own dime and on my own time. I snagged several goodies.

So just to go over a few things. In previous years, World Goth Fair was a charity event for the Sophie Landcaster Foundation but due to complications that were outlined in the World Goth Fair blog post, it is no longer so. I know this saddened a few of us but I trust that Axi and Lokii know what is best for the event and for the Goth community in SL.

The month of May holds a grand day for us 'Goths'. World Goth Day is May 22nd. This is a day we let our freak flags fly a little higher than usual. A little prouder, a little more prominent. Enough to let the rest of the world know we're here, we're strange, we're dark, we're okay with it. Amongst all of it...don't forget we also love passionately and have feelings like all the rest.

I've went on many a rant about my views on goths and some of those in the scene feeling rather 'gothier than thou' so, I will spare you all. Just keep in mind that, like it was said in a picture I saw on Facebook, "Goth should be liberating, not confining". Are you Victorian Goth? Nu Goth? Bubble Goth? Industrial Goth? ....Whatever you are, I love all of your Gothiness, and that's simply how it should be! <3

"There Was A Time That The Pieces Fit, But I Watched Them Fall Away..."

It's seriously attack of the RO Wings lol. They're gorgeous though! You can't really help but love them and want to wear them in all different ways. I saw tons of lovely Victoria Secret-ish and happy lovey dovey posts so I am glad that side of the wings were covered. I figured I would go in the opposite direction.
Isn' that Gia's favorite direction to go during this sappy ass time of year too?! All I am excited about for February is the return of The Walking Dead. Yaaaaaay! Everyone can keep their chocolates and whatnot and I will be happy over here in my corner with the zombies...and Daryl Dixon!

These wings come in various colors. White, Black (as pictured), red, pink, purple and a almost prismatic color. All absolutely gorgeous and with a Fatpack available, that is the route you'll want to go. I am always too selfish to pick one color only.

With RL things calming down a bit this week, I am hoping to jump back into my regular schedule and hopefully play around with the wings some more. So I hope you never tire of seeing alllll the wing pics <3

JettHead Till I'm Dead!

I honestly believe...whole heartedly...that I am the biggest Joan Jett fan to ever exist. I know, I know...that is quite daring to say, as I know she has such a huge fan base but..I will be ballsy enough to say it! If there is a bit of Joan Jett memorabilia, I own it. If she's playing anywhere near me, I am there. If Joan Jett is performing YOU STAND UP! YOU DANCE! YOU SING ALONG! But hey, that's just me. I just adore this woman. Her lyrics, her talent on guitar, her dance moves, her attitude, just her as a person allll around! The woman is timeless. It's 2015 and I get goosebumps listening to her still and I doubt that will ever change. I've listened to her since I was a little girl and I still have the urge to jump around and get all wild, same as back then. 

Needless to say, when I saw this shirt by FK Designs I was just ecstatic! If I am blogging something, it is of course because it has inspired me in some way...but this look I have going on above is probably hands down one of Gia's favs. As a blogger, my look is forever changing, as eclectic as I am, so are my styles....hey, someone has to keep you all on your toes! But if I weren't a blogger, and I could just chill, this is probably a look you would see Gia in quite often if not almost always.  I'm surprised I don't see more of it. Maybe I am just not around the right places enough (and if you are around those places, feel free to nudge me and say "Hey Gia! Wtf, where have you been?!" The punk genre is one I have only in the past few years been exposed to, but one my heart seems to have bonded with right away. And you're not doing punk right if you don't have some FK on, I don't care what you say lol. So, having said that...this top came with one kick ass HUD...
