All The Wrong Moves

Month of Games is up and running in SL. I already made my rounds and, in all honesty when I went, I was expecting to pop in and out but I was intrigued. So many designers participating with so many different styles, UNIQUE styles! Chess, Candyland and Clue are the game themes..and obviously, I'm showing you a lil Chess!
Zibska is participating in it. Although I loved each outfit, I choose the Bishop outfit this time. I won't pretend to know anything about chess either. I have no patience to learn that game. I can only say that marble chess tables/pieces I find to be quite beautiful. I would definitely get one for decoration and maybe, just maybe some day...I would learn to play the game. And so, that is what my photo is based on, something beautiful, making all the wrong moves. More Zibska right around the corner luvies! <3

Before She Was Cursed, She Was Envied

Although many photos were taken of this outfit/costume/etc...I decided to stop with this one. I had a dress on her first but decided not. Because I find the story of Medusa absolutely intriguing, I decided to do my own little take on it. 

Elska is participating in the Greek Mythology Event and released two gorgeous tattoos. The one on my chest in the photo is called 'The Gorgon" and of course was my inspiration for the photo. The owner of Elska and I seem to have the same idea in mind that Medusa wasn't only a serpent haired woman, she had far more to her than what most envision. 

I know her story in many forms but there is a paragraph in the wiki that says, "In a late version of the Medusa myth, related by the Roman poet Ovid (Metamorphoses 4.770), Medusa was originally a ravishingly beautiful maiden, "the jealous aspiration of many suitors," but because Poseidon had raped her in Athena's temple, the enraged Athena transformed Medusa's beautiful hair to serpents and made her face so terrible to behold that the mere sight of it would turn onlookers to stone."

My ode to a long known character that I have loved since I was a child and met her in 'Clash of the Titans' (the original version of course!).

You might be frightened to look upon her because you don't understand her or the pain she suffered...but don't worry, she will force you to feel her pain and suffering.  "Do Unto Others, What Has Been Done to You..."

I find Boudoir to be quite amazing with their many different styles. From hair to shoes, dresses, corsets, costumes, furniture, fantasy items...it's a one stop amazing shop!

Gave my self a 3 second breather from World Goth Fair to toss in a few other curve balls at you and I simply had to show this. It's a recent release and very much one of my favs. Tapping into my DnD nerdisms, I definitely have a thing for armor..and when you can make it look this snazzy, even more so! The outfit comes with everything you see on me (minus hair, skin, you know, oh and the feet binder thingies).

Hopefully by now you all know Fantasy Faire is LIVE! I am going to try my best to feature things that I loved (Which would be all but, time and all!) From the sims setup to the designer creativity, I was blown away! With early blogger access, I didn't know if I wanted to shop or just look! Managing both was a challenge but I did it! 

This is the 6th year of Fantasy Faire, one of the most anticipated events! You all know I shop like a pro but...when I have a reason to spend my monies for something, it makes it even better! Fantasy Faire supports the American Cancer Society's vision of a world without cancer and by shopping here, you're supporting it too! There are specific vendors showing you that if you buy that specific item, the proceeds are going towards American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Fundraising. It's just an all around good feeling to do something for others. Maybe you are all too familiar with Cancer, maybe you're not...but even in doing something small, you're still doing -something-., and something is better than nothing. Plus, you're getting to enjoy some AWESOME creations by some of the best creators in Second Life! 

Navigating the sims might seem kind of mind boggling but it's actually quite easy! There are teleporters all around and even if you get lost, enjoy your time enjoying the sights. A lot of work was put into the setup and you can tell.

My lovely dress was hiding my feet but this is what I had on them.

Yes, I know that Marie (supposedly) never said that but I always loved loved that saying. Actually I feel like saying it in place of 'Off with their heads!' but with the same meaning behind it *snickers*

Confession? I have a certain love for unusual hair! Yes, I love my simple straight or some what curly (every day) looks but I do that in real life....my Second Life leaves me open to so many things that I could never get away with or even try to do in my real life...I take advantage of it!

My outfit is a new DRBC release and there are so many awesome prints that were made but this one stole my heart and inspired my entire look here. Do you find it odd that an article of clothing can do that? It happens to me in my real life too. I can turn my entire outfit and look around because I ran into a scarf that was hidden in my closet! Who is Miss Voodoo? A gorgeous woman that was brought to my attention by a lovely friend of mine who knows her tunes like no other DJ Electroslut! But I just call her Kitty <3 So she said my avatar and this gorgeous lady had a similarity so I thought, Hmmmms, I gotta make this happen!! So thankful that Ms. Dizzy (owner of DRBC) is so incredibly talented! She put together the dress before I could even finish the set up! I am so on top of these late at night blog posts!  I'm a bit on the sickly side right now *sniffles* so that is my excuse for this evening. In any case...yes I did rest a bit today but also wanted to show you this lovliness by Silken Moon. This isn't the only shade either! Make sure to follow Silken Moon on Facebook to keep updated with new releases and what the head lady is up to! I'm also wearing the Silken Moon skin and so I tossed the mask aside to allow you a cleaner view...

I love pale skins and with that red gown it just made it all the better! I know you can't see my shoes but, I stopped in Kustom 9 (as per usual!) and thought these were adorable!

Many ways to wear these and I decided to add them to my SL edition of 'Lucy in the Garden' ala Bram Stokers Dracula. Couldn't you tell?! Along with my awesome pedicure done by Dark Passions, which you will see blogged often because they're just doing it for me! She seems to get my style and love for all things...dark! (Hence the name of the shop :P)

Also, Pose Fair is right around the corner! The pose in the top photo is one that I found there. It includes the Arabian Veil and the pose. A HUD is sold separately for color change options.  Such awesome poses that I will be haulin' some serious butt to show you!! So stay tuned loves!
