My inspiration for the photos was the new American Horror Story. I jumped on that band wagon only a few months ago and still have yet to watch 'Coven' (I know, I know...). I'm super excited to see what demented things and twists they'll bring to us this time.

If you notice many of my photos linked back to Mousai...I can't help myself. The sim is gorgeous. There are so many corners there that are an absolute call to attention. Just when I think to myself, "Oh I love this area! I will camp out here..", I end up finding a place I think I love even more. Right now, when I am not on my bloggers platform, I am usually hiding out in that house behind me in the photo above, not the castle, the little haunted house off to the right. I'm just all about the details. Plus events and a sim owner that is a peach. So yeah, many of my photos will be here. It has become like a SL home away from home.

I'm showcasing a few things in this post. The Plastik made some lusciously beautiful skins for the skin fair. I've been a long time fan of the Plastiks skins (and the Plastik in general). With a huge list of skins to choose from, ranging from fantasy-type to your normal colored skins, it's definitely a place you'll want to visit.

These are the featured shades at the Skin fair with a bottom right closie of a included freckled option that I personally thought was adorable! I am not partial to freckles but these are modifiable and perfect. Very realistic and not overwhelming. Like I said, opinion differs but this is mine.

My pants are a newly released Sn@tch goodie that are super hot. No need to spend time picking out shoes because these ones have boots attached! Also available in leopard prints, I got them both. Too cute.

My cute Edgar Allan Poe lunchbox is at the MadPea Gacha still going on right now through the 31st. This machine just stole my attention when I saw it and I collected ALL of them! Then I stalked down the creator, bought more cute stuff at her shop and now it's one of my favs too. Make sure to check it out!

There Is No Light Without Dark {Dead Apples Skin Fair 2014}

If you're anything like me...an event can open. You have something in mind you want to get at and so you'll grab it, but see something else later and go again, and again, and again. Yes, this is me alll the time. What can I say? Second Life is my Barbie time! The Dead Apples skin at the skin fair is one of those ones that people were saying was gorgeous and so on and on and on. I gave it a try myself and did love it. Specifically the nose and I cant say why really. It's really rounded and just makes me want to pinch. It has a softness to it that is so very innocent...at least that's the way it looked on me! The eyebrows were another favorite. Flawless! Honestly one of my favorite skins in the bunch. You'll see it blogged often that's for sure.

Like I said, each skin seems to change depending on shape. Demo, demo, demo! (And by the way YAY for the creators in SL that don't charge for demos!!) If you don't have this one in your inventory by now, make sure you give it a try and see how it looks on you!

Also, I had a friend who recently had issues with her slink hand appliers. This has happened to me before too. If your hands turn a shade of white when using the skin applier, make sure you add your 'utilities' HUD that is included in your slink hands folder and click tattoos off. If you don't see a 'utilities' HUD, go to the Slink mainstore and use the redelivery system to upgrade your hands/feet.

A Picnic & Oldies {Skindustrial Bodyworks Skin Fair 2014 Special}

Skin fair is still going strong and I am seeing some lovely pics of so many skins! I still have a couple more favs to show you. This one is by Skindustrial Bodyworks.

It comes in several different shades, all appliers included and is darn lovely! Each skin pack contains the appliers, different brow color options, cleavage enhancers *wewt*, face glow, lipstick, and freckles in dark, light and medium options. 

The freckles in the pack are what made the pin up girl in me poke her head out. As soon as I put them on to try them out, the whole blog was pretty much laid out. Make sure to follow Skindustrial Bodyworks on facebook (as linked above) to keep updated and give these skins a try. It's awesome to see how each skin looks so different on each shape.

The SAVIAD Spring Fair is in full swing! Want a little confession? I had to go to the next sim just to peek in and see everything before it officially opened! Even the shopping experience itself is entertaining! They've obviously put a ton of work into just decorating the place.

Many many of the best SL talents are there with some breath taking creations! Gachas are everywhere too so needless to say, I dipped my hand a lil in everything!

Spring is like a rebirth to me. When winter has killed off most of everything, Spring comes in and brings it back to life. That was my inspiration for my photos here. I wanted to show you this lovely dress by Zibska and at the same time share my vision on the death of winter. 

The skin I am in I snagged at the Skin Fair. Silken Moon I only recently stumbled upon but I can say that it took me about 2 seconds to fall in love with the skins. I love unique, I love different, I love original beauty and this place definitely has them all. (Plus appliers! *claps*) The Silken Moon mainstore is nestled between two other shops. Take your time browsing through them all!

The cyber girl in me loves my cyber-ish skins. I've been a long time fan of SyS. From their cyber clothing line to their couture clothing line, hair, shoes..and now skins! Such a simple yet gorgeous facial design to inspire me. Something about that little chin design that I loved! I hope my fellow cyber peeps have tried this skin out and loved it as much as I have!!

Skin Fair is right around the corner, LITERALLY! They don't give us enough time for it! No, Gia cannot simply take a photo...I have to show you allll the things!

So the skins I am showing you are all hand picked for certain reasons. I picked this one for two. 1) I have a blogger friend that seems to love the muffins out of this skin and 2) I have a blogger friend that says there's no detail to it. In typical Gia style...I wanted to see for myself. This is what Gia saw!

Clef de Peau, I love you! I love a skin that is so soft and has so many options. I love the detail and the shading on it. From the facial highlights to the spine, collar bones and hands. That's right, I said DETAIL. Although yes, I know, everyone's definition of 'skin detail' is on a different level in Second Life. Don't pass this one up at the Skin Fair. I know I will hold my skin softly, close to me....okay, that's starting to sound like something out of Silence of the Lambs. On to the other part...

How Mystic Is Your Canvass? {Skin Fair 2014 Special}

Hello hello luvs! Skin Fair 2014 is right around the corner and I am just.... *flails* The options are aplenty. I suppose we all have the things we obsess over in our Second Life. Some of use love shoes (that would be me), some of us love hair (that would be me too), and some of us skin (that's me too!). This would be the place the skin lovers will flock to. The creators we love and fan girl/boy over have all busted some serious butt to bring us some of the hottest skins! I picked some of my favs to showcase here and of course I'm going to show you how mystic Mystic Canvass makes me!

Before I go on about that though, Skin Fair photo rules for my blog are. I will NOT edit the skin. I am not adding highlights or shadows or anything else to the skin. I want YOU to see what your lindens will be paying for and all the hard work these creators have put into this. 

What I have edited are SL glitches, background effects (only slightly), and jagged edges or broken joints because those last two annoy me so! 

All of what you will see on my blogs that have anything to do with the Skin Fair will abide by this rule. I keep with this rule pretty much anyway most of the time but I shadow and highlight usually for the photographic effect but never to correct the work done by SL creators. I love Photoshop like the next person but it's JUST MY personal opinion that shading and highlighting for others is doing their work or attempting to correct it. Having said that....let's roll.

Mystic Canvass skins, if you're not familiar with them, are definitely not your average SL skins. I love that she (Lara, the creator/Owner of Mystic Canvass Skins) thinks out of the box and brings us all types of skins in all different colors. Not just your average, every day human skin tones or shades of make up. The Mystic Canvass setup is on the first sim. You can't miss it! You won't want to miss it. Especially my cyber luvin gals!

All skins come with Slink, Phat Azz & Lola Appliers. Also eyebrow shapes for convenience, A cup and D cup options, a No Brow option (wewt!) and red, blonde and black brow options.
