I am SO sorry for my delay. My power supply decided to basically give me the middle finger just as I was having so much fun with Saviad and Pose Fair and alll the other things! Even though I ordered one the same night, it still took alll the way until today to arrive. While I was waiting though, I think I got hooked on a lil show called 'Sons of Anarchy'. Done with season 1 already and it's kinda awesome! Don't be surprised if biker pics start popping up all over the damn place in Gia's World!
So I am tossing in a quickie here that I had finished right before my power supply passed away. The awesome chair I am about to fall off of is by Infiniti, another ah-may-zin pose maker in SL. If you're not familiar with Infiniti, you definitely should be. I love the many different poses included in the chair and the many different ways you can play with it. Drama, sexy and everything else! This was just my lil spin on it. Thankfully, TfAtN sent me some purdy thangs to play with from the 'Create your own Tarot' event. “Create your own Tarot” is a series of Secondlife events exploring one theme of the Major Arcana cards in each month. Last months was 'The Fool' and this months is 'The Magician'. So clearly I didn't stay in theme, or maybe I did. Never can tell!

Oh we've reached another week and inching closer to the end of the month which will be the end of Future Wave so I hope you all have had a chance to make your rounds, grab a few things and enjoy the view. I loved the setup this year!

Just like last year, when doing this event, I like to ask myself what life would be like in the future. What things would we have to change? What advances in technology might be made to make our lives easier? When I was younger, I remember being told by 2000 we'd be in hover cars and all kinds of other stuff. We have a ways to go before we see that in our every day life but...we're making progress! 

So Swagga released a nice lil wing set that I thought would make a cute match with my Future Wave stuff. In typical Swagga form, super detailed and very unique, I love them!

I'm also mashing it up with some goodies from Thanks For All The Nebulae which is at the SciFi Convention! Yet another stop you should be making lol. Don't worry, once you get these wings on, transportation will be quick and easy! 

Not going to talk your faces off. I was haunted at my RL work today by tons of images that I want to take! Some for Future Wave and some just because so...go hit up Future Wave and the SciFi Convention and all the other places and THEN...come right back here to Gia's World! Muahs!

And so begins our Digital Revolution! Aka Future Wave 2015 and I am soooo excite! 
I know, another event right? SL seems to be encumbered with them. But Cursed Events always brings you events that are so off the wall and by that I mean not mainstream and by that, I mean I love them. Future Wave, in case you're wondering is a science fiction/futuristic shopping event.  It will be held from noon PT on February 13- midnight March 1.  It is not a charity event. Just an event that happens to be ah-may-zin on its own.
I had a blast blogging it last year so now this year, with more experience under my sleeve, *pops collar* I had to come back for round two!
The merchant line up and any other questions you might have about the event are listed on the Cursed Events Blog. They do wonderfully on keeping you posted about the event and any happenings in it so make sure to check it out!

Can I talk to you all as friends? Can I pretend that we're close...that we've been friends for years and I am writing you a letter? In the past few weeks, months...I've not been too honest with you. I've told you real life has kept me busy and I didn't go in depth with it and I don't really want to. I know you have your problems and I am but another person, I don't want to burden you...but I wanted to let you know I am dealing with a lot. Physically, mentally, emotionally. Winter is never the best time to be around me anyway. Maybe it's this place I live in, the lack of Vitamin D is real! Lol. Don't worry though I am taking massive supplements!

With everything going on, blogging has been so hard for me to do. Not for lack of anything, the images in my head are never lacking. If I could grab the images right out of my head, I'd have over a hundred blog posts a day! But being real in my posts has been a struggle and I want to always be that. I want to be just the same Gia that I was the day I posted Ms. Zombcakes for the world to see! But the Gia in front of you right now is a broken one and so that is what I am giving you. So I will try to be honest with you from now on, and maybe my pictures might seem odd or sad but if they are, know that I am allowing you a glimpse into my head and feel free to share hugs. <3 So moving on...

Sn@tch I love you so! For years I have followed this shop and Ivey (owner of Sn@tch) never seems to let me down. Constant new releases at such great prices, snaggables, fishing at the mainstore and of course the riot boards that we all love! And if you meet a newbie, make sure to send them there! She's got a killer packet that often tempts me to make a new avi randomly lol.

Avi Choice Awards voting has started and I was so surprised when a notecard was sent to me, informing me that I was nominated. Honestly I checked to see if it was a mistake or something. I don't know how that happened but to place me amongst some of the bloggers that I admire most for their talent and photography skills, I've already won. I'm just little Gia amongst a sea of bloggers, having fun showcasing some of my favs and talking about randomness so for someone to notice what I'm doing...I'm just beyond words. My apologies loves, how I do wish I could blog all day every day but real life is so hectic right now and not being nice to me so I am struggling a bit but trying to be around as much as possible!

I recently had a 'Tudors' binge on Netflix. Ugh, what can I say? It's a guilty pleasure! One of the many. But if you wanna rewind just a tad, my obsession with this era started when I was a wee lil girl and I ran into my older sisters readers digest book on the supernatural. One of the stories was on the ghost of Anne Boleyn and it went into a little bit of her history and I remember thinking to myself...how damn tragic it was and how bad it would have been to live back then as a woman. 

Anyway, Dead Dollz sent me this lil loverly gown after my Tudors binge and Death Row Designs released this amazing table (stuffed pig included!) all at We <3 Roleplay so I smashed them together with The Tudors at heart...and then this lil shop came up out of nowhere and dropped the infamous Anne Boleyn necklace down for The Witching Hour event and I ran. I literally ran as soon as the event opened and snagged it right up. It's a gacha with several different options so of course, I chose to wear the blood spattered one...in typical Gia fashion!

The table and its entire layout was just amazing. I find DRD to still, after all this time to honestly just be one of those shops in SL that just can't fail me. *Crosses fingers* And better darn well not! Lol 

For the roleplayers, this is simply a must have in your homes, taverns, etc! Easy enough to catch a few dwarves wandering around this table as it would be to put a few thrones down and serve a King and Queen here. It comes with animations too PG and R rated *wink wink* With all of this, it only has a total of 26 LI, can seat up to 8 people and also has other chairs available for purchase with more animations included in them.

A big thank you to Whispering Windz for allowing me to play around in their wonderful Tudor-ish sim! The tavern was just what I had in mind but the whole sim is definitely worth paying it a visit.
