Had to take a sec to show this super cute dress by Oubliette, which is basically the darker side of Petite Mort lol same awesome creator. These cuties are at Suicide Dollz this round so definitely hit that up and check it out. There are sooo many cute designs to choose from and doll up to your liking! This was a easy Nu-Goth style up though I am sure you could go in many directions with it.

For those of you that celebrated, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I decided to make some Tamales because we did not have Thanksgiving without them when I was a kid lol, so labor intensive but so worth it!

But back here in SL, I took allll these blog pics the day before Thanksgiving came flooding in and am only just now able to start editing and sharing things so, hopefully I will get them all out to you in a somewhat timely manner <3

This is just an outfit that I totally was in love with. There's this gal I follow on Facebook, she's so teensy and so incredibly adorable! She is Psychara. 
When playing with my Catwa head yet again, I decided to try my best to mold it after Psychara, though I simply cannot do her justice. So do check her out and snag all the goodies!
Btw, I must say this dress is fitted so greatly against Maitreya! I totally fangirl'd over the work! Hopefully you all scooped it up by now!

Hey dolls! 

I am playing super catch up again, as I have like a floooood of shit just piling up in my brain! Like I wanna take pics of this, and that, gotta blog this, etc. Meanwhile in RL, hectic! Tis' the season for it though. Oddly enough though, this weekend, it snowed, we were trapped in doors, and I had a bit of a break and was able to get in several blog pics.

I neeeeeded to blog this top because I loved it. I <3 me some Pac though. "Omg wut Gia is like all metal/gothy like though!" ......And?! Haha I grew up around soooo many genres of music and I am SO thankful for that! I grew up to know/love/appreciate the real rap artists of our time, and Tupac was one of them. Real messages, real experiences, real beats. Damn, I miss it!

Also, let me include that...several events have opened (of course!). One of them was Tres Chic. We had early blogger access  and the quick fingers in me bought a skin before the creator had actually finished set-up! Lol. I sent her a notecard thinking there was a mix-up and instead of being crabby about it, she was super awesome and just apologized and sent me the correct applier. I soooo love SL creators that are down to earth and ready to answer questions and help out when they can. It makes me want to be a devout customer. With the incredible quality of the skins, that won't be a problem!!

I wont keep you all though. I had to show this mash-up of super cuteness so you could join in on this odd collab of urban witchery haha <3

Return of the Pumpkin Queen

It's The Return of the Living Dead!

 Hello again luvs! I know, I know...do feel free to punish me. I've been away for so long! RL can do that to us sometimes. It just gets super hectic and when all of it piles up, it's just easier to move a few things to the back burner, not forget them, just move them to the back for a lil bit until things get settled. I have been working a lot, and I mean that in SO many more ways than one. Working on me, working on my place, spending time with family, etc. etc. and it all has been rejuvenating for me! I really do feel like I've returned from the "dead". Head is fresh and overflowing with ideas and pictures I've wanted to take so, I am excited! Excited to play around in my Second Life once again while I have some time. 

Now, mind you...that is not to say that I will be back to a regularly scheduled blogging routine. I am simply saying I am enjoying my SL again so some blog posts will be flowing in here and there. Not without some changes though. I will probably cut down on the amount of pictures taken and also get used to some wall blogging to simplify things for myself. Hopefully it won't be too much of a change for you! Hopefully it's a good change <3

If you've been a part of Gia's World, then you know this is my favorite time of year! Like so many of us Spooky-Boo's, I tend to shine a bit during Autumn. I live for all things spooky, creepy, all that good stuff! So I saw Dizzy, owner of DRBC, post an ad of this super adorbs dress that is all the sexy and spooky mixed into one! One of my favorite combinations. I had to doll it up and show you all. Have you been to visit Retro Rewind yet? I know it's hard to keep caught up with events. After my lil break, I was overwhelmed with trying to play catch up! I will do my best to keep you as updated as I can but one of my favorite places to keep an eye on new events/releases is the Essential Inventory facebook page.

Btw, the sim I was at for the pics was super cute! I think there is a hunt going on there and they do some rp'ing I think...well the skellie guy that was trying to talk to me seemed to be RP'ing lol. Hey luvs!
I know, I know. Come punish me. I've been gone so long but like I said in the last posts, it was all for a very good reason. I needed a break from SL to refresh the noggin, I needed to refocus, yadda yadda yadda...you get the point <3
I love that I came back to tons of yumminess though! Right in time for Hair Fair 2016 and everything, my wallet is so pissed at me haha. It's okay though. I actually didn't go all out at this Hair Fair. I bought quite a few, don't get me wrong....I guess I just had my heart set on my vintage hairstyles, maybe that was only me (and Dizzy lol) because I didn't spot a single one there. But I keep seeing sumo bun things -_- but if you like that style, right on!
So I owe DRD a helluva lot of blog posts! Woah talk about busy!  So I am featuring Death Row Designs twice in this post, and I sure wont complain. So much cute! I loved this vintage furniture set. All my fellow vintage collectors are going to want this baby for sure. It is at the Crossroads Event which starts the 3rd of each month. It's featuring styles/things from Apocalypse, Contemporary, Cute, Lust, RolePlay to Vintage! Sounds fun to me! If you haven't already been there to check it out and grab all the things, make sure you do! My super adorbs heels are also by DRD and are at the ULTRA event which runs from July 15th-August 15th. The socks are optional and they're lace mesh. Kinda hard to see in my pic so you're just going to have to go snag your own! I loved them with my catty print dress by none other than....can you guess? DRBC! Of course! Feeling Very "Mrs. Mia Wallace"

Hey luvs!
I'm back-ish. I include the 'ish' because, as I posted on the official "Gia's World" Facebook page, my computer has not been playing nice with me when it comes to taking pics in SL. I really had to mess with my settings to take these pics. They're a lot smaller than usual but I had to make adjustments in order to do what I have to do. Otherwise, I was dealing with a very crash happy computer and in the blogger world, that is a serious pain in the ass! Okay so imagine it. I have the outfit on, I finally found the pose, I finally found a location that matched what I had in mind, I made any adjustments to the pose, I finally found a windlight, I prepare to shoot the pic, posed-angled-snap! CRASH. Rinse, wash, and repeat. It was just continuous and driving me up the darn wall. So I made the adjustments which should keep me happy and functioning for now until I get my new computer parts in. I am excited for them.
I had to do a quickie to show off the new Glam Affair skin at Skin Fair, which I know darn well by now, the lot of you have bum rushed it and snagged all the things!
I was feeling very 'Mia Wallace' in this outfit so I really let her free spirit inspire me.
If I haven't declared it before, let me just say it now, I LOVE LOVE me some Quentin! I think he's a genius on film. I loved his movies since before I actually knew they were Quentin movies. Pulp Fiction of course, is one of my all time favs. Also Deathproof, Dusk Til' Dawn, Four Rooms, we'll be here forever...just all of his stuff!
I wont keep you for long today. I have a ton to catch up on and still not too certain about this PC but I am being impatient.

Hey luvs! Told you I would be back soon! Not soon enough, I know. If it were up to me, I would be here daily....nah, not really. That lil break allows for some inspiration to build and that is always a good thing.
I had yet another chance to tap into some of that cyber-ish styling and you know whenever I can do it, I will jump on it!
It's not too often that we see hair creators in Second Life go above and beyond the norm. That is in NO way disrespecting a single one of them, No no no. I love my SL hair stylers! What they do is not easy, at least not to me lol. Just like with clothing though, you get styles that are often similar, gorgeous...but still similar to others. Occasionally though, there's that one...and you all know what I am talking about. That one that stands out. I love .Shi for that! It seems that recently more hair styles have been available from .Shi and I definitely will not complain about that! I hope we get to see a lot more! They're new, fresh, unique, cutting edge.
I love that you can use them, I can use them, he and she can use them! They work for every genre I can imagine and that kind of flexibility is  pretty awesome.
If you click on the .Shi link above, there are some pretty interesting factoids about the owner of the shop. I love getting to know the people in my SL like that. It's inspiring to read about a person who started out in SL and went on to bring creations into RL. I know of several.
Also a lil bit intimidating because her creations in RL and SL are ah-may-zin! So I will have to have my creative hat on to show you allll the things they way they need to be shown! I'm up for a bit of a challenge!
I was able to combine my badass hair style with a tattoo I fell in love with! I missed it last month during the Mens Only Monthly event. It's now out at the main store so check out 7 Prodigy for the rest of the goods!
Of course, I featured a closie of my nails too. I am pretty much always wearing Dark Passions on my nails. The only time I don't credit my nails in my blog posts is when you cant see them but in any case, just know I have Dark Passions on them anyway lol.

Hey guys and dolls! 

I hope I am finding you all in good spirits. The weekend approaches soon. I should be happy about it but I can't be lol. I've had the week off, (not by choice!) and will be returning to work Monday. The days off have been nice though and much needed in so many ways. I've been sick and simply needed the rest so I am thankful to have had these few days to spend at home. It also gave me a few more chances to pop in SL and enjoy all the shopping, events, and visits with the people I adore. 

Speaking of people I adore, DRBC recently released this adorbs dress that I knew a lot of my readers would just fall in love with! This is one of my favorite prints but she made a plethora of them, so you have a ton of options, polka dots galore and a Hello Sailor! one that is to die for! Make sure you follow DRBC (as linked above) on Facebook for updates on recent releases.

I couldn't help but take advantage of someones ride parked outside of the new Hard Alley Club! That's right, Hard Alleys Retroville has moved sims! So make sure to pop over and visit. The club is active with some pretty awesome DJ's! The music ranges from punk to rock to...just everything! The company is great and  oh yeah....I hang out there so that's a bonus right?! Come over and get down with us sometime!

A Fantasy Frozen In Time

My goodness! Darn that Gia for taking her sweet ass time to get back to SL! ;) My apologies for the absence luvs. October, November, December are busy for me, like so many other people. But even beyond that, our family was just tossed around in a series of unfortunate events and with the sadness, my inspiration was at a stand still. I know so many of us have had to deal with it, so I know you'll be understanding with me. I am not going to go into too many personal issues, they're a bummer, believe me. But I do want to say something. 

We always hear the 'Tomorrow is never promised' saying but seriously, I mean it....please remember it. You can see someone one day and they are gone forever the next. So love people in your life every day as if you'll never see them again. Don't ever be afraid to be that passionate. You have to be. With so much hatred in this world, be the rebel and love! Life is so precious. I have to remind myself of it all the time.
This is also a time for depression to just sky rocket. Why? Maybe it's that we're so broke. Memories attached to this time of year. Remembering loved ones that aren't here to celebrate with us anymore. It's all of the above for me. It's fucking rough. There's simply no other way to put it. I guess the important thing is to try. Small victories are great. You put pants on today? Go you! You rock!
I am coming around though and have a ton of things to catch up on with a few, oh you know, several thousand ideas on the side! I've been watching and reading and listening to a lot of interesting things that are helping to spark up ideas so, it should be fun!

My other half in SL, my bestfriend Dizzy sent me an amazing gift a couple weeks ago, the LOGO Mesh head! I am so in love with it. It's really gorgeous with it's supple lips and rounded features, emotions HUD and all that other good stuff. All that and then Glam Affair makes appliers for it! I hope you've all have a chance to give them a try, the Glam Affair applier is beautiful!
The Polar Glam Affair skin tone is probably one of my favorites. It's pale...need I say more? Haha. Not just pale, it's just got an all around soft paleness to it. I fantasy-themed pic came to mind and paired with Vibe Poses, I had a blast <3

I so hate saying good-bye to October...but I know all good things must come to an end. And just to be a sarcastic ass, I always make sure to share the countdown till next Halloween, there's always a person out there that'll get butt hurt about it!
Even though we say goodbye to October, November and December still warm the heart...maybe not in the same way but that's just a cluster of months I am learning to really love. I know some of us get really down around December. It's a stressful time of year! The one thing I can do is make sure to not focus on me. Mind you, I am not saying that will be the solution to YOUR problems, I am simply saying that is how I am wired and how I work around the 'C' word blues *CoughCHRISTMASCough*. For example, I focus on how excited the kids in my life are about the holidays. They seem to share their excitement with me, if only for a moment.

This time of the year is always an amazing time to bring around those warm colors, knit sweaters and all the cozy things! I am looking forward to a lot of the events coming up because I know they will deliver just this!

Speaking of the 'warm colors, soft undertones, etc etc...I simply adore Glam Affair! It seriously doesn't matter if I am wearing a mesh head or my normal head, Glam Affair just makes all the adorbs happen. So I couldn't help but put together a picture that would not only highlight the skin but show how much it inspires me and reminds me of the beauty in this Autumn Harvest.

I am seriously amazed at how fast time goes by. I swear I just posted the other day. This is what happens in the life of a very busy woman! So many pictures floating around in my head, ideas, outfits...and sometimes I feel like I actually did blog it when in fact, nope...it was only a thought. 

Halloween in just a few days and in the spirit of it all, I have been enjoying a podcast. I am new to the podcast world and maybe I shouldn't have crossed over because I am hooked! So a friend suggested I listen to Darkness Radio, have any of you listened in? It's paranormal talk radio. I simply cannot get enough of it. There is nothing I love more than some spooky with a side serving of goofy! I've already caught up with them since their September podcasts haha. They need to get to work. I work full time, that means they have to entertain me for 8 hours! 

So yeah, besides scary movies and stuff, I've been enjoying my spookiness via podcast too. 

I have a LoTD kinda post going on today. I thought it was pretty appropriate attire for us 'gothy' or 'nu goth' lovers during this time of year. It is still a lil warm (depending where you live!) but can get nice and breezy, maybe a bit too breezy so you'll want a sweater nearby.

Hello my lovelies! It's the weekend! Let us rejoice! The long work weeks make the weekend that much sweeter. 

So Halloween is officially 8 days away! I swear this month just flies by so fast! If there's ever a time when I can relate just a lil to being bipolar, it's during October. You get that high in the beginning of the month. All the sweet smells of Autumn that start in September are only intensified and it is so intoxicating! As the end of the month comes (so damn quickly!) the high just drops and it is upsetting. We need a pause button in life. Someone get on that!  

In other news though!

There's a little event going on in Second Life called 'The Truth About Bats & Avies' brought to you by SL Goth. Several designers from SL have gathered together in an effort to bring awareness of the rapid decline in the bat population, white nose syndrome, and other things threatening their existence. Proceeds from the event will benefit Bat World Sanctuary which is the only accredited bat sanctuary in the world. How I admire that there are people like that in this world. If only I were a rich woman. I bought things from this event with a smile because it's for a great cause and because there's so much awesomeness there. Other designers include: Spellbound, Sn@tch, The Little Bat, Livid, and More! Make sure to check it out!

I couldn't think of a better brand to be there to support the bats than DRBC. In case you haven't had a chance to get up close and personal (woohoo!) with Ms. Dizzy, owner of DRBC, she is an absolute lover of bats! And I don't mean using them as a cute lil print on clothing (although she does that so well too!) I mean she just simply thinks they're adorbs! So it is no surprise to me to see DRBC there with a gorgeous batty dress! The dress is called 'Vampira' and it so reminded me of Vampira. 

The quest to look like Vampira in SL I thought would be a simple one but it wasn't. Just so you know SL hair creators...there is no Vampira hair in SL! We (I had Dizzy helping me look for hair lol) scoured SL for hair similar to Vampira's. My requirements were the center part and the hairline and if possible, I wanted the vintage curls at the bottom. Nothing was found. Not.Ever! Spellbound had the closest thing that I wanted. The hairline was there because you're originally supposed to wear barrettes with it. The bottom of my hair is edited in the top pic to curl under. Originally, it hangs a bit straighter. 

Dark Passions Koffin Nails is also participating in the event with some adorbs batty nail appliers for Slink, Maitreya and Belleza. I even included a closie for them, I loved them that much <3

Voyeurism...They Like To Watch

The thing about watching is...it's naughty, you're not supposed to do it...and so it's a turn on (to some!). What you might not know is that the person you're watching, might actually like it. So who is the real perv? Haha. I mean, so long as you don't include murder....
I think one of the first movies that exposed me to 'Voyeurism' was the movie 'Psycho'. I was too young at the time to know it was even called that. This amazingness by DRD will remind you of just that. The other movie that exposed me to it was 'Sliver'....anybody watched that one? One of the Baldwins and Sharon Stone...pretty steamy stuff and so much voyeurism!
TAG Gacha is up and at em' this round! Such a great one! I hope you've all took some time out to enjoy it, and I mean that...honestly it takes some time haha. But I don't mind hopping around to all the stores for some shopping fun. It's always great to see what they will come up with.

Hey luvs!
I hope your week is off to a great start. I know we all hate our Mondays. Every time it rolls around I go through the 'Damn it, I don't want to adult' talk with someone lol.
With Halloween right around the corner, I am just having a ball with all of these events and being able to take all these pictures.
Collabor88 this round was pretty amazing! It's been open for 5 days now so hopefully the crowd has simmered down a bit and it's easier for you to make it in. Even more events have opened so move around and let people get in already.
The 'Burtonesque' theme has to be one of my favorites so far. Death Row Designs made an awesome set, very on theme, very quirky, just like Burton! I think my favorite part of the set were the pictures...the clocks, no the pictures....wait the tea set! I love it all haha. It allowed me to create a little set up and imagine a story line for Mrs. Lovett, who is one of my favorite characters ever.
I read somewhere once that 'The Worst Pies In London" song was one of the hardest songs to sing because the pitch is all over the place. Up and down so fast. So here I am, always trying to sing it!
Petite Mort dropped this adorbs dress on me in just the nick of time for this post. It complimented Mrs. Lovett's look so well! It is available at the Mad Circus Halloween Event so go go go snag it while you can!
Also...oh this skin by the Skinnery at C88, my goodness. One of my favorite features on the Skinnery skin is the lips. She adds such awesome detail to them! I love the worn look around the eyes and the pale skin tone. I just love it. Brava Uma, I say more! <3
